Larissa, take it to Becker Guitars in Attleboro and have Mike Freeman do it. He used to be the instore guitar tech at Guitar Center when I was there and he was a fucking genious...

Did Becker move from Stoughton' or do they just have more than one location? The few times I've dealt with them, they've been awesome.

Do you know what he charges?
I found all the pieces to one of the SGs that I destroyed (anyone at that Neurosis/EyeHateGod/Anal Cunt show 11 or 12 years ago?) and would like to haveit playable again. Needs the headstock glued back on and the neck re-attached.
For what Guitar Center charges for that I might as well buy another SG. (which I'll probably do anyways but...)

yeesh the headstock thing is tough...
i had a Gibson Thunderbird bass headstock glued back together by Jim Mouradian of Cambridge Music. It held for about a 2 years, absolutely perfect, but then another freak accident (freak=road crew) snapped it again. he said 'not possible' the 2nd time.

"If your guitar or bass needs repair or custom work you can bring it to Mouradian Guitar Repair. We’re lucky to be associated with these guys. Jim Mouradian is a legend who’s done work for artists like Kurt Cobain, Chris Squire of Yes, Extreme, Aerosmith, and most of the guitar and bass players in the Boston area.
Mouradian Guitar Repair has moved and is now located at 810 Main St in Winchester, Massachusetts. You can bring your guitar to them yourself or you can drop it off at Cambridge Music. Call Jim or Jon at 781-756-4877"

yeah, Mouradian is the most legit guy in the area. Might not be quick though.

So that's what happened to him. When his shop was above Cambridge Music he used to let me rummage around for spare parts and never charged me a dime. That guy rules.
Does his son (I think it was his son) still fix amps?

I should track down the guy above Spikes on Boylston, if Gibsons are his thang. My V is USA made and my favorite instrument in the UNIVERSE.

Short of rubbing my Gibson with a diaper, I wanna find the best man for the job.
