Oh relax, those are her words from 2 years ago not mine, the day I mouth off to Pam for real is the day I get stabbed in the eye with a knitting needle, hahaha...

I would pay good money to see Pam stab someone in the eye with a knitting needle.
I offered to shove people down the stairs, but no takers.
broken cross just played. their singer was sort of like barney for napalm death on stage. if barney had ADHD that is. he paced that stage like a motherf'er. he also kept calling me a faggot. not sure how he knew that one. someone spilled the god damn beans. they only played a couple songs. mostly old school thrash with a slow slammy breakdown at the end.
eric's CSDO merch is now about 1/2 the size of rik ta life's.
empty orchestra played one song OK and then realized they were missing a kick drum head. TAS quickly switched up with them and they got going once again. im willing to bet that they had a kick drum head when they started, but mike kicked it into orbit with his constant and pounding foot assault. They played all new tracks and some of them seemed almost cruel to force mike to play one after the other. The new songs had a touch of converge, a touch of TTOS, and a small dose of meshuggah riffs.

It totally seems that way, but then again, it was worse with the old stuff. The new stuff at least has some mid-tempo parts. With the original set, we'd do it with no breaks and Mike would be panting at the end and drenched in sweat!
you are going to give him a heart attack and then need a new drummer. when he plays, his glasses slide downand he hunches over looking like a character from spirited away
i enjoyed this show a lot, untill one of my friends starting puking all over the downstairs bathroom and i had to drive him across the city with his head out the front window of my car vomiting the whole way.

This show was pretty amazing. Venue is pretty amazing too. Maybe if we work hard enough, bands in this genre can grab some friday and saturday nights in there.
Broken Cross - I love bands like this. Mix of NY hardcore with NY death metal. I loved the energy and attitude. The drummer of this band is amazing. My guitarist and I were talking about how amazing his technique is...basically, when he is playing such fast and technical parts, it doesn't even look like he is trying. Apparently he's like 14 years old?
HYEO - Even though I can't even pronounce their name, they were amazing. Nick has always been one of the more seriously talented musicians around here and this band is no exception. (Coincidentally, I have recently been raving about Rowan's new band Arkham White as well...you TTOS cats...). Mike's vocals are out of control...highs were unbeatable. Stage prescence was top notch.
CSDO - I see alot of hate on these guys on RTTP, and don't get it, given though, I don't know any of them personally so that really doesn't factor into my musical opinion of them...I enjoyed this band alot. I mean, what can't you like about it? Straight-forward in what they do, no frills thrash. Every song was about the "final" something and at least three songs were about killing terrorists. Solid stuff.
Sweet show all around. Props to the Rev for hanging out late on a weeknight!

lol he's 18 but i can see how he looks younger than that
I totally agree with Nick about CSDO...Why the hate?? I dunnow, I've been on here a while, and Eric was a pretty nice guy and his band was fucking great. Solid thrash that pulls it off live.

It was a great show! I dug all of the bands. Thanks again to Empty Orchestra for letting me use the guitar cab! Broken Cross (old school thrash and hardcore mixed together) were pretty cool...
