part 5 is the worst but in the bad way

if there is a friday the 13th movie that should be redone it would be that, make the boat scene smaller... and the body count way higher in newyork.. then we would have a winner

It's a winner already, because it's so bad that it is amazing. So horrible. So good.

i dont know.. the aspect of the body count being much greater than 7 people could make it way worth remaking .... think about a scene on a congested train that is moving... and jason gets to have his way with all the passengers... the token moment on a scene like that would be if jason grabbed somebodies skull after just going into a tunnel... then smashing it through the glass and then pushing it up against the brick wall... most improbable situation but that could be badass

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous that he completely ignored everyone on the train except 1 girl that he pushed. I'd be interested in seeing it remade, but the original is still such a masterpiece Of fail.

this movie rules. this and Jason Lives are my two favorite ones.

The fact that the vast majority of it was filmed in fucking Vancouver, not NYC is one thing. The fact that the kills, while some like the flying head is damn funny, were the least gory in the whole damn series really sucks.
The idea had so much potential to be insanely violent and over the top and it ended up as the opposite.

Part 6 sucked too. Part 6 was also the first one to have no tities. Coincidence? I think not.
In fact, if you are from the "its so bad, its good" school, there is an arguement that part 6 was the worst one ever. Everything about it, from how Jason got reanimated (he got struck by lightening, UNDER WATER, I mean come the fuck on) to the killings (first one to do away with most of the gore, its almost like they were going for a pg-13) was just fucking awful.
At least Jason X brought back the titties.

Yeah, Jason X was laughable; the deaths were awesome but the movie itself was such a fucking pile of flaming crap. The sleeping bag scene was fucking amazing though. I can't tell if they made that movie poking fun at the previous movies or if someone really said, "HEY! I have this awesome idea, where Jason gets cryogenically frozen, goes into outer space, and turns into UBERJASON!" The fact that they call him "UberJason" in the credits made me piss myself.
