im tired, im itchy, and i puked up marshmallow peeps a little on valentines day, meaning ill get right to the point:

me: i have equipment. i have transportation. im willing to travel as much as an hour, maybe a little more for the right people, in any direction for practice (i live in cumberland...thats northern RI. its about 20 mins to providence, an hour to newport, 40 mins to worcester, just to give you an idea). im free monday and teusday nights for practice, hopefully friday nights will be available soon too.

i've written an entire 20-25 minute set/mcd on guitar, plus lyrics for the songs (5 so far). i even have layouts for cd inlays, shirt designs, and im trying to get jon zig to design a logo for me. can you handle that? probably not. itll just leave you sticky and pantsless in some ditch somewhere. anyways, thats not the point. point being, the guitar's all done, i just need other members, ha.

all i ask is no drunks/junkies, have your own equipment and transportation, and be dedicated. im mainly looking for a drummer that can do decent double-bass, the faster the better really. and if you want to try vocals, come on by, even though i know like 5875827350893 vocalists. bass/2nd guitar is not needed for what ive written, but if it fits, all the better.

anyways, onto the sound. any of you that know me know that i eat, drink, dream about and shit metal, especially death metal. that being said, i can say that the sound of the stuff ive written is varied, although the songs are relatively short, grindy pieces with slam/breakdown parts and some melody...after all, i worship chuck schuldiner. the guitar is mildly technical, nothing like dillenger escape plan, but enough to keep it entertaining. i want to sound good, but its mostly about playing shows, seeing kids, having fun and keeping a tongue-in-cheek attitude about the whole thing....plus i want to record like no tomorrow...

i love all sorts of metal - black, death, thrash, grind, power, doom, so feel free to get in contact to jam no matter what you play, since the infuence of all of those genres would be welcome. but to let you know, right now my main guitar sound comes from my major influences. those of course, being DEATH, CRYPTOPSY, pig destroyer, the number 12 looks like you, deadwater drowning, goratory, slayer, anal bleeding, suffocation, devourment, all shall perish, carcass, daughters, putrid pile, disgorge (us), creation is crucifixion, kreator, the red chord, gomorrah.

i would try out for drums but i dont want to play 9 minute long songs. its not like the songs are realy hard and i have a world class violin player at my disposal too. she teaches first strings at U-mass
