Jailed woman ODs as coke-filled condom bursts

A Brockton woman remained hospitalized yesterday three days after one of three condoms full of crack cocaine she was allegedly hiding from cops in her vagina burst, causing her to overdose, police said.
Doctors later retrieved two intact condoms full of rock cocaine weighing more than 50 grams after the woman began complaining of abdominal pain in a holding cell at the Taunton police station.
\'\'The two bags that we did retrieve, if you put them together they equal about a good-size fist,'' said Sgt. Paul Roderick. \'\'That's a lot to be storing up there.''
Tina Cellucci, 33, who is facing several drug charges including drug trafficking, was listed in fair condition at Brigham and Women's Hospital yesterday.
\'\'She's lucky she's not dead now,'' Roderick said.
Cellucci was arrested along with a male acquaintance for possession of drug paraphernalia including crack pipes and hypodermic needles Friday afternoon.
She had been in a holding cell for about 10 minutes when she cried out for help and allegedly told police she had placed 64 grams of crack inside herself, Roderick said.
\'\'It's not unheard of,'' he added. \'\'The guy holds the money and the girl holds the drugs.''
