oh man morphine... i was in the icu once and they gave me dialodid.. it was pretty funny.. the night nurse had blond hair and i would be all on a morphine high and she's come in to give me more medication and i thought she was an angel. i was telling my boyfriend of the time who was sleeping on the floor that they were coming to take me to heaven and i was ok with it.. def a drug you can not function on.

last time i was given morphine was about 3 years ago when i mangled my ankle. i don't remember seeing any angels but they thought i was crazy when i sat there and watched them reset the bones in my shin, laughing and saying "coooooooool"
i've only had morphine once, when i had a kidney stone. the nurse walks over with a gigantic syringe and says "you're a big guy, you can handle this" and pumped about a gallons worth into the IV. that was one of the coolest feelings i've ever had. going from crippling pain to floating in warm pudding.
