so.. I've started this HUGE project scanning in a shit ton of pictures. I'm talking 3k+ from my immediate family (1960-1990's) and 6K+ from my grandmother (1800's to 1999). it's a rediculous undertaking. I've scanned my own 1yo ass so many times trying to get the scans right.
Slide scans: 8085x8085 pixels = 20-27MB jpg = 65.4megapixels
Negatives: 8810x5610 = 26MB = 50Mega pixels

it's pretty ridiculous.
seeing pictures of my parents being 20 somethings and all hippies is ridiculous. My dad looks like some islamic freedom fighter.

my dad was a tall, skinny, long haired, monty python dork. my mom has had the same hair cut since 1978. i'll find some pics to scan. in 82' i had a fuzzy ewok sweat shirt. i wish i could find pics of that.
