"Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, in addition to cancelling our tour we have some more bad news. In Dire Need will no longer exist as an active band. This is very upsetting and comes as a complete shock to some of us. Since the inception of the new lineup almost 3 years ago, the number one goal has always been to become a full time touring band. We have constantly worked hard to get to that point and I can say with one hundred percent certainty that the transition to becoming a full time touring band is the hardest hurdle any DIY band can face. I can also say that being in a band in general, never mind a band that tours, is not for everyone. Truthfully, this band can never really die. In Dire Need is more than just a single person, unfortunately in reality though, that can't be true which is why today we are no longer a band.

Back in January we recorded a new record that will never be released. We were getting closer everyday to it seeing the light of day, but with the end of the band, that battle also comes to an end. We have put up all 6 songs on our page, and have enabled them to be downloaded. This way, the new record can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, and at least the music we made together can live on. We also have some merch left. Check out the online store we have set up and feel free to pick some stuff up. If you order any shirt we will also ship our old CD Lost at Sea with it while we have it. We taped what turned out to be our last show. We will eventually put it online for you to see.

We just want to send a heartfelt thank you to anyone who has ever supported us over, not only the past 3 years, but the years before and stuck with us throughout it all. To name specific people and bands that have had a positive impact on us would take a lifetime, so we will just leave it at that.

We will keep you informed with what each of us goes on to do. I'm sure you will hear from some of us.

though this means that they will be a reunion show in october.

Thanks to anyone for kind words. Devourment would be an awesome last show, but definitely can't happen. The hard work and sacrafice I, and the others, put into this band over the past 3 years is very real. Sorry if it does not fit into the time frame of what you consider our band.

OHHHHH THE HUMANITY!

this band was amazing. that last show in tewksbury was their most epic set i have seen. i'm glad i made it their even though i was sick as shit.

They should of atleast made that PAL show their last. JERKS!

This show will also serve as a CD release as we will have a limited amount of copies of our unreleased record "The Blood of the damned and the waters of false prophecy" for sale at this show.



We will also have limited commemorative shirts.



We have been practicing and feel great about what were doing. We are eager to help a friend out as well as play for anyone who is interested, one last time.



For those of you interested in what we will be playing, expect everything. We are playing "new" songs, old songs, and very old songs. We will be playing songs that we have not played in almost 5 years. We are pretty sure our set list will please everyone.
