I've been buying as many cheap, shitty, cheesy horror movies as I can lately and I'm starting to run out of ideas on what to buy. Lately I've enjoyed Basketcase, Slime City (really slow moving but the terrible acting is hilarious and the "gore" parts are sweet), Humanoids From The Deep (aka Creature), Night Of The Demons, and Doom Asylum (quite possibly the worst movie ever made in the history of time). But of course I enjoy good horror movies too. Tell me what to buy. If it isn't gory as hell or actually scary/excessively fucked up, it needs to be the cheesiest of the cheese. GO.

I think I gravitate more towards movies with gore and/or monsters of some sort more than legit horror movies. I guess horror comedies aren't really horror either on account of not being scary.

If you liked Shaun of the Dead, try Bio Zombie. Same sort of idea, but Japanese with awesome english overdubs. Soft drink zombies. This is maybe my favorite zombie movie.

Last House On The Left is fucking great.

I'm definitely going to look into Bio Zombie.

Who has seen Meatball Machine? Alien symbiote mothafuckas come to Japan and can only survive by finding hosts and fighting each other Mortal Kombat style. They can make sweet weapons out of human flesh.

i recommend Hard Rock Zombies. here is the plot:

A hard rock band travels to the tiny and remote town of Grand Guignol to perform. Peopled by hicks, rubes, werewolves, murderous dwarves, sex perverts, and Hitler, the town is a strange place but that doesn't stop the band's lead singer from falling in love with a local girl named Cassie. After Nazi sex perverts kill the band to satisfy their lusts, Cassie calls the rockers back from the grave to save her, the town, and maybe the world.

i don't need to say anymore.

inside- french horror about a preggo women who gets into a car crash, her husband dies, the lady in the other car dies. she goes home and gets a knock, creepy stalker wants to come in, punches the window. cops come, they tell her they will look out. the lady sneaks up into the bedroom while the preggo sleeps and takes a pair of scissors and stabs the belly button a little. basic inside of the house survival horror. people show up randomly, the lady kills them off as they figure out what is going on.

awesome gore, guy gets shot in the head, face blows off, lady gets stabbed in hand with scissors, knitting needle in the eye, the pyscho lady stabs one dude multiple times, back of the knee, nuts, face, eye. and they show all this close up.

the ending is fucked, the lady starts to give birth and the pyscho lady helps her out, calms her down, then gives her a c section with the scissors rips out the baby and leaves the mom to die, she sits down on the rocking chair with the baby... i think it was dead.

the lady was the lady who "died" in the car crash at the beginning, guess she was pregnant, and she lost it in the accident.

Cannibal Holocaust
The Beyond
Martin

Again, not really straight up horror but all quality flicks with blood and dun dun dun music.
If you haven't seen Martin, it's a Romero film about a young vampire trying to deal with having to kill and live in the modern world and stuff.

I'm somewhat of a traditionalist. Always looking for the nasty shit I've never seen. Ill be jotting some titles down to look for. My list.

TCM 2 (prob my fave ever.)
Saw 1-4 (new school)
Rosemary's Baby (horror? Recently saw it and was scared)
Ichi the Killer (digital gore can be good)
Zombie
City of the Walking Dead (may be wrong title, took a chance at the video store, it was good.)
30 Days of Night (was ok)
Ted Bundy
See No Evil (kane was great)
I Drink Your Blood (my kind of flick)
Street Trash
I always wanted to get ahold of the Guinea Pig films. They were investigated for being snuff films but aren't. Japanese series, saw clips, looked like the most brutal shit ever. Anyone familiar with these films?

The Bloody Video Horror That Made Me Puke On My Aunt Gertrude sounds like it's going to be the worst movie in the world. I must find it.

What rules is that loving shitty horror/gore/melt movies results in finding almost every movie I'm looking for on Amazon for $2, and there are 85 copies of all of them available so I don't feel like I have to pressure myself into buying them before it's too late, haha.

City of the Walking Dead is not Gates of Hell; City of the LIVING Dead is Gates of Hell. I only know of one person that has liked City of the Walking Dead, so I felt it was necessary to correct this just in case someone goes to buy it thinking it's going to be Fulci, haha.

JoeyCobra: The first pic you posted in your last post didn't show up, but it says "Creature" in the URL...is that the title of the movie? If so, I have seen it and it is glorious. It is also known as "Humanoids From The Deep" if it's the same Creature. Sea monsters that live to rape white women and eat dogs=ok in my book.

Sea monsters that live to rape white women and eat dogs=ok in my book.

weird..the picture shows up for me.

It's not Humanoids From the Deep(I've seen that)
here's a link to "Creature" on Amazon..looks to be a complete rip-off of alien...it must be great.

amazing... simulated snuff....more plotless gore than an actual "movie" but it rules all the same.

also Kolobos was excellent.....and See No Evil was cool too

I have an issue of Ultra Violent mag with an article about August Underground: Mordum. It talks about a simulated rape scene and the actors getting into it. Looks awesome, complete with titty pics. Always wanted to get ahold of both AU movies, add it to the list.

they actually have a third one out now too... it's called "Redemption"
the first A.U. was good, and the third was ok, but they both fail in comparrison to "Mordum"

Other movies: The original Night of The Living Dead is probably my favorite. You gotta love Dead Alive for it's pure awfulness. The first 3 Hellraiser movies are fucking badass. All three Evil Dead movies...Fulci is a genius...

I have an special weakness for Japanese horror. Suicide Club, Old Boy, and I've got the promising Machine Girl waiting to be watched on my laptop. Can't wait. Obviously all the American-ruined movies like Ringu, etc.

Think I'll go throw on House on Haunted Hill. (PRICE FTW)

just fucking excellent!

Jorg Buttergeit is a fucking awesome dude. He did the Nekromantik movies, which are great, but don't compare to his masterpiece "Schramm". What a sick movie, its like a serial killer/love story, but that description does not do it justice. You just have to see it. He also did "Der Todesking" which has to be the most fucked movie I have ever seen. It really doesn't make much sense, but the scenes are messed and depressing as hell.

Anyone ever hear of "Aftermath"? Its a silent 40 min. movie about a pathologist fucking a cadaver. I know it sounds childish, but man, it is so moving. No joke.
