TWODEADSLUTS ONEGOODFUCK: very loud. Amazingly so. Now there are 3 sluts so it's like 3 merzbows. The set ended very awkwardly when one of them went into the crowd with the mic stand andd robin stopped them.

HAYAINO DAISUKI: wow... Think magrudegid with all banging, limited jumping, and some sweet metal riffage. They had teddy (bbts) on bass and the dude looked more healthy than I've ever seen him looking. This guys were crazy good. A lone dude moshed around drunkenly. There was also a girl on stage singing back ups to 1 or 2 songs (i know what you are going to ask, but no, no tamborine).

ASRA: I always forget they are from NY. They played on the floor, but still sounded good in this club. Sludge death metal goodness. Some kid started to mosh it up, but got put down.

some guy played noise on stage for 7 minutes. no clue who.

Gridlink: wow... To compare them to anything would be doing them a dis-service. Pure awesomeness, but not dystopian liike a lot of grind. I would say that they were powered mostly by smiles. And if sunshine and good intentions could be harnessed to power a car, this band would get a million miles to the gallon. they played before I destroyer cause they had to drive back to jersey. this lof course means that a lot of people will be leaving, but whatever.

How was Gridlink? John Chang was my hero for years, but somehow I never got huge into Gridlink. I kind of wish I had checked this out.

the 'no clue' noise dude mentioned above was me, Anthony Saunders. This show was a blast to play. I'll be youtube-ing my set once we get the video digitized. Thanks for these photos, we all (most of gridlink and hayaino daisuke) checked them out this morning at Chang's place, a lot of great shots.

A discordance axis song came on my ipod at the gym today and for a slit second, I thought "how did I get gridlink on my ipod" Solely from the live set, I don't know how you would like DA and not Gridlink.

i, destroyer was of course awesome. I think that is the first time that I saw them on a real sound system. It's funny hearing bob's more "punk" vocals and hear all the lyrics. There was one word that I thought he said "trampoline", but then he said it again and I think it was trap. Their set was short, sweet, and to the point.
