New site? Maybe some day.
Maybe, just maybe my favorite Neurosis album, and definitely works out well on a Monday morning.
Let the spiral into suicidal depression..... COMMENCE! |
I have difficulty picking a favorite, I must say. |
they don't release anything bad. one of those rare bands that evolves, yet stays within the limits of still being awesome. |
ahhhhhhhhh, fucking Mike...I did not need to see that link
I just dropped so much money on my new apartment...can't do...won't do

i need to get this one. i really like Enemy of the Sun. |
a sun that never sets is my favorite neurosis album and one of my all time favorite albums ever. the dvd is so good. i could watch that thing all day. |
Times Of Grace is the best album, but Locust Star is the best song. It is the soundtrack to the apocalypse. |
If you're on good behavior by your birthday.... |
good day sir. |
The Sun That Never Sets the dvd is sick. |

i heart you |
i'm gonna have to go with Souls At Zero |
I can't pick a favorite.
Asking what your favorite Neurosis record is, is like asking someone. "Do you breath?" |
ASTNS is amazing. times of grace is my personal fav. Me and rev had this same convo a few days ago. We are boyfriends. |
listening to Eye of Every Storm... one of the best bands ever, tough to pick a favorite album... |
every record Neurosis has put out Enemy of the Sun and after hasbeen fantastic |
This is the only neurosis album I like. I know, I know. |
Still gonna go with Souls at Zero as my favorite. That was my first exposure to Neurosis and probably also the first thing I'd heard that legitimately sounded like the end of the world. I was twelve and it left a mark. Only other band that really had that effect on me then was Samhain.
Here's "Times of Grace" combined with the companion disc "Grace"

Me too, though if put on the spot, I'd probably say "The Eye of Every Storm". "A Season in the Sky" is my favorite song of theirs. Literally the heaviest thing I've EVER heard when they played it at the Masonic Temple a couple years ago.
"A Sun..." has some truly beautiful moments.... usually followed by something that is the exact opposite of "beautiful".
They are all incredible though. They're def. one of those bands where you can blindly buy their records, knowing full well that they will NEVER disappoint.
They're also the only band I can think of that is heavy, even when they're not being heavy.

definately the better album along with through silver in blood. |
