Dwyer has reeelapse table right next to him. The spill over is intense since relapse doesnt have as much as they used to.

decrypt: they were really good. I saw them in 2002 MMF and got a demo CD. For all I know, this could be a totally different band. They went crazy on the stage and the people in the front were totally into them. Their current singer got arrested so an old singer filled in, but he sounded good. Mostly it was the guitarist.. Er.. Stage right guy that was doing a lot of the more discernable vocals.

Sucks that Dwyer's a fucking ripoff and keeps fucking over alot of the bands he signs.

fuck light beer!

toggletoggle post by BSV at May 24,2008 1:31pm
nothing needs to be elaborated, just ask a band. people from around the country and world know this too, very well known fact.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 1:34pm
defeatist: from NYC and another one of the open mouth screaming grindish bands. They should easily be as big as phobia, but they dont have pissed off enough crust anthems. They also need to play new england. The drummer is what you should watch in this band. Reminds me of the massive south/power behind every little hit that the new coliseum drummer has except he's not insane.

toggletoggle post by Joshtruction   at May 24,2008 1:50pm
I live with someone signed to his label and I only hear good things. Thats why I asked.

toggletoggle post by BSV at May 24,2008 2:05pm
I've only heard and seen bad things. Not my problem!

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 2:11pm
trap them: it is absoltely one of the greatest things that trap them is playing mdf. I stand by the fact that this one of the best bands around. Period. With the recent departure of their drummer, i wouldnt expect much from a fill-in, but mike justin (ex-every band) played that music like he wrote it. His drumming was perfect and friggin pwerful. Usually he plays really techy like a machine. This had more heart to it. Short of the dover brick house, definitely the best sounding show that they have done. On a stage, separated by a barricade isnt trap them's usual fair for shows, but they kept it high energy up there. There were people down in the pit doing windmill headbanging for the entire set. I must admit a little joy out of seeing mike and ryan on stage again together. It's been almost 5 years.

Dafter once again stopping like 38 asian kids, i finally found coffins and handed off their merch after a rather long drawn out conversation that led to the fact that neither i nor anyone in coffin had any clue what i was saying or what why we were even talking. We went in to see the american selling their merch and the coffins guy i was with tripped over something. It ended up being a passed out dude's head. This is at 2 in the afternoon mind you. The guy didnt move.

There are tons of very little kids here. I mean like 10 and under.

keitzer: during the first song, one of the heads cut out. They replaced that and started off again. Germany band. The music was excellent. In your face dm. Sort of grindy in parts, but not really. Sort of reminded me of strong intention with longer songs and more members. Their didnt really speak english all that bad. They ended with a joke black metal song... It only started out black metal. Dying fetus one was better.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 4:32pm
kalibas: they were ok. For some reason i couldnt get into them. The audience was also just constantly heckling them. Someone from the audience said their set smelled like a fart and it did, but under "smelt it, delt it" rules, that audience member was the onewho did it. I saw these guys years ago, but dont recognize anyone in the band anymore.

waco jesus: just like one of the other bands, one of their guitar heads crapped out. Their music is pretty sick. They again had people heckling them. Though most of what people yelled was just song titles that sound suspiciously like heckling. They dumped beer all over the crowd. But it was pretty good.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 5:57pm
During waco jesus, i video taped this metal dude, brian, singing on stage. Hope it's not too terrible.

[band=Behold...the Arctopus]: the first non-headlining to require a different drm set. That cause quite a todo as they had to spend all that extra time movie things around. Their first song was a technical masterpiece that had everyone standing still and clapping like the grand finale of fireworks on the 3rd of july. They did a lot of "crazy" things like the drummer getting up and leaving his seat while the others played, etc... Their second to last song was coronor's read my scars. Someone from one of the other bands that i didnt know got up there and sang it for them.

I seriously fucking hate anyone and everyone who got to see Decrypt. They will never come to New England.

toggletoggle post by Grizloch   at May 24,2008 7:06pm

defeated sanity: besides the ungodly sound, what made their set was mucopus fucking around on stage. Lots of stage dives. In the pit, there were a bunch of people who just kept getting slammed down on the ground. For some reason whom ever was controlling the cameras kept loading weight lift videos on to them. It was sort of weird.

In between these 2 bands, they widened out the photopit too. It's still just me and the swiss dude (who's name escapes me again) up there.

flesh parade: ok.. I was outside and missed their first song which i play on my radio show all the time, coping with it. Sucks. Their sound was exactly like the CD/7". Even the new stuff sounded exactly like the older stuff. They played a ton of new ones that are suppose to come out at some point somewhere in time. I hope it happens. The new tracks were over 1 minutes 30 seconds so that was something different.

After this i went outside and caught the metal version of ya mama's so fat. I thought it was another bum fight. I heard the crust that hit me got maced and pulled away.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 9:49pm
disfear: litterally one on of the best live bands and currently my favorite CD. Rock and roll for metal heads. They tore up the stage better than they did at the last MDF they played. Thomas came down to the crowd for the sing alongs. Plenty of crowd surfers. i thought that the crusts outside would mass exodus in for them, but there were only a few of them.

coffins: one of the limited crowd surfer hit the ground really hard. Limped off in pain. They played awesome as a 3 peice. I mean they were seriously good. Some entombed, then sludge, then goregrind. Very diverse. There was an insanely long pause in their set and when they came back, they had a singer who same almost brutal truth style. People went ape feces for them. Their set was long. I dont think anyone minded. The whole time the guitarist/singer kept on his shades. Not knowing what fuck im dead sounded like, almost convinced myself that fuck im dead was coffins with the other guy singing.

Alas.. At this point they were running over 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Instead of pressing forward, they let us hang out in the heavy metal parking lot until they were back on schedule.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 24,2008 10:56pm
[band=Fuck...I'm Dead]: when they finally came out, they were in blood splattered butchers' aprons ala rotten sound/general surgery. The sound was right on. They played 1 or 2 songs from the engorged split. That ruled cause i knew the anal abbitor song. I watched 1/2 their set from outside while i was catching up on this review thing. They sounded so good, but with those accents, i kept expecting them to say "suffer the children" or "fuck bush"

ghoul: creepy creeps from creepsylvania. They had 20x more stage antics than before. Not only wolf, but a prieacher guy that gets taken out by the wolf (blood spray). Then the wolf comes out and pisses all over ross and gets his guts slit out. Then some hick comes out with a gut bucket. The room was absolutely packed. There was a tiny bit of room where a small circle pit kicked up, but that was it. No room to do anything else besides crowd surf. I left to the side to shoot a bunch of shots of the bodies on bodies. They ended and people were screaming for another song, but it didnt happen.

monstrosity: hopefully there will be no fits during their set. One of the guys from rumpelstilskin grinder is in this band now. Well, more like just for this show. The room cleared out a bit after ghoul. The floor could open up again in a nice 90's push-pit. They sounded really tight, but the best thing was their set up time didn't seem all that unreasonable. That's with switching out the drums. They played until they were done. I think over their "allotted" time, but what does that matter. Massive sound as usual. i will admit to having seen them so many times lately and being tired so that i never really got into their set.

they actually dont have one at the tremont, so we fashioned one out of paper, of course we have 4 people (minimum) in a 2 man room, so... otherwise I would probably allow the lady into my room to do the same thing

you are wrong. the first 1/2 of the first song was the worst sounding thing on that stage. I think it was off Domine cause that is the only CD that I really listen to. then when they hit the necro-borknagar part, it was like white doves flew out of the speakers crapping 382Kbps mp3s directly into our heads. IOW: it was near CD perfect.

Ummmm I don't really remember that...but I would never let 3 minutes of technical problems mar an entirely otherwise beautiful set. Their drummer was fast as balls. Kudos to him for making those drum machines come alive.
