I've been dying to set up a street hockey game at one of my local outdoor rinks. Plyaed most of my life, but don't really have anyone to play with anymore. This upcomming winter I will do some pick up ice hockey games too. Should be an awesome time.

ever use a street puck? i took a slapshot with one of those once and hit my friend in the nards. he was down on the ground for 20 minutes.

Fuck them fag pucks. I hated them things, they never worked right. I have taken a few bad shots with a real puck. Talk about hurt...

street pucks were probably the most terrible invention ever. unless you were gonna do one of those mighty duck slap shots when you put the puck up on its end they are totally useless. they just skid along the ground and move in directions you dont want them to move in. if they still manufacture these it proves that hockey players are indeed retarted.

i tried the street puck out a few times, but like you guys said, it wasn't very effective. i preferred the ball. i'd only break out the puck if all the balls we had got slapped into the woods and lost.

the only time a puck works without ice is if you're playing floor hockey in a gymnasium or something. if the floor is smooth enough, the puck will glide.

Yeah I lucked out huge. I thought I was gonna have to get facial reconstruction or something. I just started playing this year. It's a friggin' blast, especially when there's more than a two on two game. Way too much running when there's no goalies.

I propose an inter-RTTP 4-on-4 street hockey tournament. You guys gotta come to Chelmsford though, haha.

i remember one time a long time ago when my parents kicked me out of the house for a little, I ran around in the woods with a makeshift spear and bow and arrow. made a fire too.

do it at Umass dartmouth in the sweetest street hockey rink around and I down for it. I'll bring a BBQ down and everything. I got some goalie gear someone can throw on too. we can probably get a 5 on 5 2 goalie game going if you guys are down.

i meant floor hockey puck, not street puck. floor hockey pucks are awesome, but the street ones are truly horrendous.

it's possible. i was at umd from 1998-2003 for my bachelors and lived in the dell the last 3 years. i went back for the masters from 2005-2007 but didn't go to any parties during that era.

I'm 6'5'', leaning towards 6'6'' and was my highschool's center. Lost interest and hated the coach, so I ended up quitting senior year... we'd be the perfect height for a guard in the NBA!
