this game rules. if you hit a car head on you go flying through the windshield. there is also an entire tv station in the game that is just Bas Rutten being awesome

I had it paused.

just go into the game files and delete both the save files and game files...
but what works to is go into the save file and delete the 47kb file not the file with your mission and it should work.

rockstar needs to come with an upgrade.

just take it offline and game should work fine

the programmers probably did so to give you time to familiarize yourself with the city a little more before they get into more elaborate missions.

I did one for vlad. then roman called me after fucking around to go pick up little john.

Killing Vlad was brutal. I'm 10% through. I missed some of the Little Jacob Missions. But it doesn't effect the overall game. If your stuck with no mission to do. Just drive around and someone will call you or try calling people.

I've been to the island with the strip club.

I actually brought michelle to the strip club and she seemed to just get pissy.

Fun Fact:
Get as many weapons as possible. Cheat if you have to. Make sure you have the rpg.
Go to the pier, near Coney Island or whatever they call it. Drive a vehicle all the way down to the end. Get out, and use the vehicle for cover.

Let the killing begin.
You can go for days, in game time, killing, without much more than a few helicopters, trying to stop you.
Those are easily taken out with the rpg.
I killed 641 people in 3 days, gametime, before they finally got me.
And by then, I had just given up.

ha. my "cheating" is I get my star level up to 4 and then suicide grab the swat guns.

ya I just beat the story mode last sunday....pretty cool, different endings depending on what you do.
I killed everyone without remorse, so of course, I had the 'bad' ending.

last night I did in some biker gang for (f). I had to do it over and over again cause I kept f'ing it up. when I hoped off my bike, all my gun controls would not work.

what the fuck.. I lose like every single mission at least once cause nikko will refuse to get into a car or shoot.

killing cops until after 1:30am every night... I like doing work for bruce cause its the only way I get over the $900-1400 money hump.

Work for Packie as much as you can, that will lead you to the bank mission, and you get 250,000 for completing that.
After that, you have all the $ u need.

I'm playing metal gear solid while playing this so I play 2-3 missions on GTA (1.5 hrs) and then play mgs for 1.5 hrs.

You can fire on them with your chopper, and take em down in a sweet dogfight. They shoot back tho, so its a challenge.


Plus, death jumps from the heli are awesome.

The river is to your right, these are to your left, right on the coast.
Climb up them, till you find the rifle.

That bank job is the SHIT. I felt all Reservoir Dogs-like and shit. Not to mention I died about 20 times before I finished it.

I only died 2 times on that mission and that was cause of the stupid computer. when you are in the subway, one of my guys didn't come. then I had to run back to him. When I got back to him and finally unglitched him, the cops were already swarming the exit hatch.

i finally beat it today. you end up at the statue of liberty on the last mission.

Yeah, I just beat this the other day. One of the most fantastic games. The credits are redonkulous, most expensive game ever made I heard.

I have yet to do the alternate ending, luckily I saved it at the point where you can make the opposite decision. Will have to do that soon.

I'm so glad there aren't any of the FUCKING RC missions in this one...holy piss those were annoying.

Favorite random moments so far:
1. Jumping out of helicopter at max height, and getting slammed by an ice cream truck just before hitting the ground.
2. Flying through the windshield driving a cab, and smashing by body through another car's windshield, and the sign on top of my cab flying off and dominating someone carrying groceries on the sidewalk.
3. "CHEESY VAGINA!"...makes me lolz every time.

I hate the fucking car chases though. I find myself doing that waaaay too much. Its retarded. Why does everyone get in a car? Its so repetitive. Why would they ever make so many goddamn car chases?

Been hooked for a good bit. 35% currently. The internet is a trip.
