Try this out.

Glazed Bacon-and-Cheese-Filled Burgers
4 Servings

3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh-ground pepper
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 rolls

Heat grill to medium. Combine the sugar, spices, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and set aside. Form the beef into 8 equal patties. Toss the cheese and crumbled bacon together and place an equal amount on 4 of the patties. Place the remaining patties over the cheese and bacon and pinch the edges to seal. Generously pat each burger with the reserved spice mixture. Grill to desired doneness — about 5 minutes per side for medium.

Meat Loaf Burgers

2 pounds ground beef (don't get the crazy fat free sort, you want the fat)
1 pound ground pork
2-3 slices bread torn into pieces

Sprinkle two tablespoons or so of milk onto the bread let it hang out

Sautee a finely chopped onion and a couple finely chopped mushrooms until soft

add a little dry oregano, plus salt and pepper to the sautee, stir the seasonings in and then add the sautee to the milk/bread mix, add the milk/bread mix to both sorts of meat and mix it altogether thoroughly with one egg. Form into patties and then cook on one side, after you flip each burger brush a dallop of bbq sauce/ketchup mix.
