At this rate I am considering getting rid of my AWD 4 cyl 18-20mpg gas hog. I have a 28 mile work commute. I wish my car had the option to turn off the AWD.

well its hard to even think that anymore, one of the reasons i wanted to move back down south last year was the price of living but since there is no difference and prices are rising up everyday not going down i dont understand how people can even just assume itll even out at somepoint.

I agree with you 100%. I'm getting a pretty decent raise come the Summer but my biggest fear is that by then in terms of inflation i'll still be in the same place I'm at now financially.

the difference is you look at european countries paying up to $16 a gallon and then look at the cars they are driving. most european cars get at least 60mpg.

You'll pay 8-10 bucks throughout parts of europe... but their money is worth twice what ours is.
