The food there is excellent. |
i don't really have a favorite. i like ralph's, o'briens, and mark's showplace. just joking on that last one. |
Good. I was gonna say if you were serious, you fail at having opinions. |
um.. I guess I don't know who you are... I thought you would have been in diapers when the rat was around. |
the Rat closed in the end of '97
I was in diapers then, I'm still in diapers now. |

Opheum Theater - National Acts
hope to check out the Hanover in Worcester sometime this year - i hear its amazing.
yeah Lupo's is awesome too. |
ralph's is good for metal shows, but i like the lucky dog because they have a lot of weird shows that are a really good time(cover bands, themed nights, etc.)
the qvcc is really cool as well, providing that the proper sound system is used.
i'll agree with lupo's for national shows. |
the company i work for writes the insurance for Lupo's. nobody submit a claim against it, please...
there was one with some girl at an Avenged Sevenfold concert that was ridiculous |
the new wave
ralph's
great scott
mine was Lupos and the Met when it was the old Lupos and the Met...BIG awesome shows that you massholes were stuck seeing at the Palladium would go through there and were 100 times better because it was smaller and so much more personal. |
The Chance in Poughkeepsie NY. |
OOOOH! I totally agree. |
i thought this was mostly local but if not then the lucky 13 has to be very close to the top--place is just fucking great. great people, smaller sized with cheap booze, killer horror movie decor and tv's that play some amazing shit...haha. also has a dancin' pole at the end of the bah. oh yeah--it closes at 5 am. |

the old Lupo's kept you on your toes. those poles came out of nowhere sometimes. |
I used to enjoy shows at the Sugarshack in Lowell...anyone else remember this place??

The old Lupo's was awesome, even though I only saw one show there, and the place felt like it was sideways or something. I don't mind the new Lupo's either.
And truth be told, I rather like Mark's Showplace. |

I probably have the most fun at The Brickhouse these days.
The Kave in Bucksport, ME: The owner is this older lady who gets bands beers, cooks them pot-brownies, and has a comfortable place to stay right at the venue.
The Lit Lounge in NYC is crazy
And of course the classics: Exit 23 (rip), Middle East, The Rat (rip), The Space (rip), O'Brien's, Great Scott, Zoots (rip)-used to be in Portland, ME and was the sickest place evah!! Lupos, Babyhead (rip), AS220, The Penny Arcade in Rochestor, NY was awesome, and OH GOD, Safe and Sound (rip) in Rochestor, NH was the shiz-night!! |
i like places with no sound systems so you end up singing through a 50 watt karaoke amp and mic nothing. |
the artist alliance.. AKA THE SPACE in worchester.
right off of 122a i believe. does anyone remember this place, it was the shit. I saw so many good bands there. |
