CAREER RETROSPECTIVE DVD BOX SET -
SEPTEMBER 25, 2007

George Carlin, who has been performing for half a century, has just turned 70. For five decades the Grammy award-winning comedian, actor, and author has been making audiences laugh and think with his salty, provocative style of stand-up comedy.

To mark the occasion of Carlin’s 50th Anniversary in Show Business, MPI Home Video is releasing the ultimate DVD Box Set, GEORGE CARLIN: ALL MY STUFF, on September 25th. Suggested Retail price is $189.98.

This 14-DVD career-retrospective Box Set includes all twelve of Carlin’s one-hour HBO concert specials –an unprecedented number– spanning nearly three decades from 1977 to 2005. In addition, there are two bonus discs: a lengthy interview titled George on George from 2003, and Unmasked with George Carlin, an intimate one hour conversation with the comedy icon; exclusive to this box set, that was taped in April of 2007 as the premiere episode of XM Satellite Radio’s Unmasked series.

He supports the war, I cant say he's a bush supporter, it takes guts take politics into comedy because you know some people like yerself are gonna crucify you for what side you take. politics aside, joke for joke, he's funnier than anyone on that list........if the joke doesnt go over yer head.

i guess you miss all his bits on foxnews, and youre retarded to think miller is funnier then anyone on that list.

and classic you dont like someone i like comment, "if it doesnt go over your head."

no miller's material and political views are garbage now, last time he made me laugh was when he still had his show on HBO. guess him throwing his hand thru his hair is too much for me.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong."

post 9/11...hannity and colmes, his own show on cnbc
but he pulled it off, so i guess he deserves credit for that.

like who you want, bro. comedy is definitely subjective. i just thought it was a little loopy claiming he is better than hicks, carlin, or pryor. i still watch the guy, but now i look at him the way i look at wade boggs.

HAHA man I was out and out obsessed with that album when I was in 7th grade. A had a tape dub, of a tape dub because my friends and I didn't want our parents to find out we had it. I was walking back from lunch one day quoting it with a friend, and this kid flipped out and said "WILL YOU STOP QUOTING FUCKING ADAM SANDLER?! HE'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! IF YOU WANT TO HEAR A REAL COMEDIAN LISTEN TO JEFF FOXWORTHY!"

This was pre-You might be a redneck if... so it wasn't until a few years later when I realized what a hilariously dumb thing that was to say.

this show sucks so bad. i watched the "beer vs. weed" one, and it was a waste of time. it was nothing but cliche jokes and the crowd roaring with laughter after every word, and every "flail, flail, raargh".

When it was Patton Oswalt and Greg Giraldo it was great. Both comedians have to be good or I can't take it. That dude who was doing the anti-weed thing bugs the shit outta me.

I think we can all agree that as long as Mind of Menstealia is gone, we can live happily.
