Seth Putnam got Negative Approach to play his wedding reception the day after this show. If you are invited it will fucking rule,
that was supposed to be on the d.l. nobody was supposed to hear about that!!! oh well! come see them in providence too even if you are going to the wedding. negative approach will kick ass!!! dont miss this show.....
Oh well. If NA was a real hardcore band that was out for the music then they wouldn't be soaking you with a huge fucking guarantee. Fuck Brannon that junkie. However, I will still enjoy my records.
Murderers Row: they played like 3 songs after they were told to get off the stage which was actually good for their crowd interest level. during their alloted time, no one cared about them. i was thinking about how they reminded me of a bronx version of the bruisers. then they did (when they should have been off the stage) a cover of a bruisers song that i didnt know, but a lot of skins there sure did. they did the gang sing along in the front and everything. this was good cause it gave them some stage action.
hammer bros was excellent and violent. mostly cause of their biggest fan, break it up alex. i more felt him crashing through people than saw him. it's funny watching josh when he plays new songs compared to old ones. old songs means moar jumping.
wisdom in chains had a huge crowd in front of the stage before they were even set up. they usually get nothing from the crowd so seeing them get such a good reaction was good for the soul. one time when i saw them at brockton they got almost as good of a responce.
i swear, any girl that is down there wearing that just wants guys not to notice her bulging tucked dick or her pignose. trolling for some faux-rich guidos to cream on their fat herpes thighs.

wisdom in chains didnt get a good response in brockton...unless they have played more than once there other than the time i saw them
supremely disappointed in myself for not being there right now.
I got home late. Excuses excuses blah blah blah. I've become everything I despise.
No, no, no young man. You missed a band getting back together to cash in on their celebrity from a documentary. Nobody knew who they fuck they were before, except for a few diehards. Mention Negative Approach 10 years ago in Boston and nobody knew who the fuck they were. Your hard earned $17 would have gone into Brannon's junkie arm. Save the money and go see two good shows.

You forget that there were 2 newish bands on tour and hammer bros who are the most sincere and legit hardcore band from our area right now and hard as nails. there was a local opener that has been playing their hearts out in font of nobody for years but still do it with a smile. and a great band from NY that has never really been big but still came out and had a great time. those were reasons enough to go to show.. getting to hear a live NA set was a bonuc. and I've defintely been listening to negative approach for ten years and i wasnt any sort of diehard, i was jsut getting into the scene they've always been easilyaccessible and madball covered them. everyone has always know negative approach.
yes 17 dollars is steep, but thats what happens with clubs needing to take cuts to pay thier bouncers and doormen and what not. i'd like to see a more DIY prescense in providence, maybe chris could book hall shows and have reasonible door prices. last week for Death threat and 100 demons at the same club was 15 dollars so i dont think you can 100% blame NA for the high prices.
lol at "hammer bros biggest fan"

Fine, I'll give it up for the two newer bands.Good for them, but did they getto see a dime from this show. No, not everyone has known NA (maybe only through Madball as you've pointed out). I can remember going to hardcore shows in the early 90's and if you mentioned NA the crowd would look at you dumbfounded and ask who they were. Ask the singer from the first band Civil Defense if anyone in 1991 had 1)heard of NA and 2)ever heard real hardcore.
Also, you can blame NA for the high ticket prices. Their fucking guarantee is $4000, just a few thousand more than more deserving bands that have been playing consistently for over 25 years (i.e. Agnostic Front, Murph's Law).
As for the high tickets prices the shows the weeks before, just ask the guys who put on the shows. They're smart enough to realize there's a sucker born every day willing to pay way too much. In turn, these bands get no where what they should receive. Guess who pockets the rest of the cash?

then apparently you hung out with faggots, everyone i knew loved them
Brad shut your fat fucking face. Perhaps you're old enough, like myself to remember them. My friends knew who fucking NA were. In fact, we listened to their music religiously. Where were you when the entire hardcore scene died? Playing an NA cover around 1990 was met with dumb looks and people having no clue to their existence. The only shows hardcore bands could get were with metal bands, and hence a lot of fucking brawling with those faggots.

your a fuckin twat kid !! everybody was paid !! happy as hell !!! and your not even close with 4000 $ for a guarantee..... that show was real fuckin sweet !!! you know nothing ! NA DESERVED EVERY DOLLAR THEY GOT .....
Doubleplusbacked. NA was the standard by which all others were measured by, when I was playing in hardcore bands.
Then apparently you must be old like myself. There were almost no real hardcore bands in the 90's. Basically, it was ITI crew vs. the shitheads claiming they played hardcore. The fucking disgusting shit like Hatebreed, Eastcide, Earth Crisis... None of those fuckers knew anything about their roots.
lol at this guy thinking NA is/was some obscure band.....
LOL at your face. Who the fuck are you? Your fucking screen name speaks volumes to what crap you are in to and you being such a fucking expert. NA was very obscure during the Dark Ages of hardcore (90's). If you say otherwise you definitely were not there. How old are you there kid? Eat shit.

So, what was their guarantee then? $3000? I know nothing? I now many things. I know that your boy Chris sold you out when the going got tough. Let's see the next time you open up your stupid mouth and spew some shit. Chris will deny any affiliation with you and you can kick his ass again when he rips another band off.
It's funny how much stuff is public knowledge. You fucking Meatwad.

i was around the punk scene from 92-98. my band played with Blanks77,anal cunt, gang green, toxic narcotic, etc. hardcore doesnt exist after 1986 imo
I enjoyed the show and feel as though I got my money's worth. I saw a shitload of people I haven't seen since the babyhead days. Chris, keep putting on shows that put smiles on peoples' faces. Politics can be put aside on occasion in the name of fun. I was never a diehard fan but hey, it's what you make of it. I knew several songs and was happy to see them play them. I win!

You get way more room to talk about the subject. Did you also have to deal with all the crap from the era too? All the (C)rapcore, emo (hardcore at the time with crying about the blackness of life from stepping on a bug), and pop (sweeter than bubble gum) punk.

Ha ha ha, I like how this a has become WE. You act like you and Pete are one person. I know for a fact that Pete fucked YOU up for ripping off a band (sorry if I forgot the band, maybe it was Agent Orange).
Do you deny him fucking you up?
Do you deny abandoning your friend when some shit got blown out of proportion (Bridge 9 board)?
Wow, I guess you don't even have your own identity now? Fucking loser.

man you should get a spot on the view or write for the enquirer or something . your facts are all wrong . i had nothing to do with AGENT ORANGE and i believe the show went over well and everyone was paid . me and Chris got in a battle because of my short temper and me not knowing all the facts to a situation . your wrong with your guarantee for NA and wrong about me and Chris fight over agent orange . you cant believe every thing you here man .... the grape vine is not reliable !
