A good deal of WMA rips of albums have been going up lately. Makes it so I can't put these songs on iTunes or my iPod. Anyone know how to convert these quick and easy?

shoot...I did this fairly easily recently and forgot how...I think there's a fairly simple conversion in iTunes

I am using Mac OSX, btw

I can't seem to get these things to import to iTunes as WMA, though

Windows Media Audio

I honestly think that if you use the "Import" option in iTunes on a folder with .wma's in it it will prompt you to convert them to .aac's

or that's what I thought

Just don't convert them and then put them out there for share again. No one likes getting material that's converted and then converted again.

I have to imagine that there is someone out there who doesn't give a rat's ass how many conversions their free music has gone through.

It's not like chemistry class, man. If I convert them, I get to keep the original files and then the mp3s for myself. Turns out that there-in lies the magic of computers!

True, but much as you've been finding a lot of .wma downloads lately, I've been coming across a lot of low bitrate multiple-converted low quality crap lately. Just trying to spread the word, because obviously someone somewhere doesn't understand that .wma, .mp3, etc... are all lossy compression and multiple conversions will kill your sound.

Sounds like the old outdated version with the system32 folder. Delete that and try again.

OH HA HA HA.

This from the guy that thinks if you open a file, you have to put it away or it'll be lost.

you really should just find every folder named system 32 and delete it. then just report back with no problems.

I don't know about fights, but lets see if I help him when he has trouble deleting his System32 folder.
