TRAUMA CONCEPT SEEKS BASSIST

Framingham, MA based metal band with influences such as: Fear Factory, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Machine Head, Cryptopsy, Nothingface, Killswitch Engage, etc. seeks bassist. Band has toured all over the eastern half of the country, played major events and festivals, opened for many nationals, had airplay & on-air interviews on major stations such as WAAF, etc. Has management & booking support, and plans on shopping to labels in 2004, after recording new demo (to follow debut full length CD recorded by Adam D from Killswitch Engage).

Must be dedicated and willing to do what it takes. 3 times a week practice, between the ages of 18-26 preferably, willing and able to take off touring for a week to a month, job, car, etc. For press sheets and mp3s from Trauma Concept email sinpromos@comcast.net. Max is in Burn in Silence now. He's still playing with Trauma Concept until we find someone, and there's no hard feelings. We always knew this wasn't the direction Max was going, and Burn in Silence are our friends.

ps. bassists, we also have a Spector bass endorsement..come down and jam, contact Jesse

does that mean i would get free basses?

toggletoggle post by SinPromos at Jan 16,2004 1:29pm
no not free basses (that'd be pretty sick though right? lol).. but should you want to purchase a new bass we can get them at factory prices versus store prices, which is a huge huge discount.

how does one get endorsed anyway?

I don't understand...
doesn't a person get a deal, not a band?

what if a band gets a person that sucks?

There's a lot that goes on with this, and it's a situation by situation basis. On an unsigned level the band keeps the sponsorship because it was the band and its ability to promote the product that the company usually cares about. In TC's case even, Max was not on the recording that got us the Spector deal even. It was more the band's accomplishments, ability to promote the brand, and their music in whole that was the selling point. When you get to a national level that is when you're more likely going to be getting a sponsorship not only based on the band, but the player's name as well. This can carry over to other bands usually, and you also get a free flow program (ie free basses) versus a low flow program (ie. factory discount & other free swag like Spector clothes).. etc etc.... I could go on forever.. if anyone wants more info call me, I can't type all this shit out..heh

and ps. we won't settle for anyone that sucks.

here's to having many women ask you to prove it

toggletoggle post by DeOdiumMortis  at Jan 17,2004 5:43am
I bet my picking speed might be faster than your finger speed. I don't know who frets faster. We'll have to waste large amounts of time finding this out, being that neither of us have girlfriends or jobs so we're both big losers with lots of time on out hands. for us.

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Jan 17,2004 5:56am
well yes your picking is faster than my finger speed. if my fingers were that fast... i would go through bass strings like a fat kid though a happy meal. and i've seen you play a few times... you definitely fret faster :p

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jan 17,2004 10:50am
why don't you finger each other?

toggletoggle post by BornSoVile   at Jan 17,2004 1:37pm
Max is a sick fuck, I'd feel like a douche filling in for him. They have a good building they pratice pratice in.

toggletoggle post by hektik  at Jan 18,2004 6:59pm
I wouldn't mind filling in...It doesn't matter how good someone else is, it matters how confident YOU are.
