takedown syndrome:I ran in, missing most of the set and only snaping a couple pictures. When I got in there, the crowd was standing way way far back. |
a life of chaos: I think they played a lot better this time. But that's just from my vague memories. The crowd almost didn't seen to care that they were playing. There was a little mosh during the last song. |
halfhearted comeback: the sounded really good, but again the crowd didn't care about them playing at all. Weird that people aren't caring about the bands laying at all. Maybe they are too busy on their phones updating their myspace profile? Damn you t-mobile and your $2 a month myspce service.
cockpunch: not only are their songs hilarious, but they are wicked good. Old hardcore punk stuff with silly lyrics about hating people for fucking whores from the internet and how you can be drug free if it burns when you pee. As their set wore on, the crowd got scary. Scary good though. Nice and violent like western mass shows used to be. Vincent hit on a point talking about hardcore. Something that was examplified but the preceding bands, the fact that the scene is sort of dying. I find it troubling, but shows like this should be the norm. Parking out side is a nightmare. You have to park like a mile down he road. Anyhow, for their last song (a cover I didn't know) the average weight in the front went from 110lbs to closed to 200 as the real men came out and moshed/rolled on top of the crowd. |
meltdown: one of the side reason that I came up to this show. Seriously, this band is really good, but hasn't been playing many shows. The singer constantly shoved everyone in the front to get them to move. The audience did move a lot, but the encouragement was still good. They have a new drummer who seems good, but I can't say too much cause I really don't remember what the old drummer sounded like.
At one point, I accidentally tripped one of the guitarists from um... Talk is cheap or someone like that when he was shoved. Sorry about that. |
since the flood: besides all the girls screaming for nate and not for anyone else in the band... Since all the girls are screaming for nate, dave has been demoted from "guy from the red chord" to "who's one of those other guys in the red chord?" nate's voice is different for sure, but it works. Suprisingly well. It does make them sound a lot tuffer cause of his lower voice. I think that will make the buried alive cover not sound as discernable. That might be true of other songs, but I don't think so. I was almost more excited to see ricky on bass. I love snapping pictures of his colorful tattoos. I don't think I did them justice. The fin of their set was a massive pile on where people collapsed into the space between the riser thing in front of the stage and the steps u to the stage.
Edge erin got quized on the ediquette of dancing with girls in the pit. |
thanks for all the girls who came out last night and owned the pit.
omgz nate's voice girls my va jay jay chills.<3 |
the cockpunch cover was hollow by integrity. |
