New site? Maybe some day.

A recent comment by Bill Steer has led many to believe that a Carcass reunion show is possible for this years New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. The comments were made during an interview in which the legendary grind guitarist claimed he is looking forward to "playing some important U.S. festivals this spring." The reunion would not include former drummer Ken Owens due to health reasons. |
that would be sensual. i'm naked already. |
ill be kind of pissed if theyre on NEMHF this year. i hope theyre on MDF instead. |
its either MDF or NEMHF... obviously... which other "important" US fests are there that anyone gives a shit about? |
OZZZZZZZ FEST LOLOLZ! THE BLIZZZZZZARD!! |
man, this fest is gonna be light years more expensive than the others if all these rumours are true |
Adam D. cites carcass's album heartwork as his defining metal album. So many sick breakdowns and chugga-chugga-chugga! |
NEMHF fucking sucks
I really hope they dont do it
but I suppose they they more money to offer then MDF
they belong on MDF |
I really hope they do it. |
I would honestly sit through any number of shitty bands just to see Carcass at NEMHF, but I would much rather see them at MDF since I'm finally going to be able to go this year! |
NEMHF was alright last year.
someof the people i hung out with though didn't really get me.
neversaynever jim was the only cool guy really.... rest just locked me out of the hotel room. |
egad, i would sit through 3 hours of JFAC to see Carcass. |

Hahaha -- that's saying ALOT for Carcass. |

you may be a fictitious online identity, but the fact that you harbor such intimate knowledge...
a little off-putting, to be quite honest
... and i'm nothing if not honest. |

A good troll is a researched troll. |
I don't know I how feel about a Carcass reunion, Fartwork and Swansong were that bad. |
heartwork is infinitely better than that piece of trash swansong. |
I kind of hope they don't, I wasn't planning on going this year. |
That's about the ONLY way I'd go. |

Heartwork and Swansong were great. Heartwork is the best thing that band ever did. |

Basically. I need to be intoxicated to deal with that many fucking people. |

I hate Swansong, but I do highly enjoy Heartwork. Nothing compares to the necroticism or reek of putrefaction. If they play, I'll be there cause it will be awesome. |

i'll do your portion of the drinking. just put like chain mail (sp?) over the baby and we'll fuck some shit up.
PS: CARCASS IS NOT PLAYING
since arch enemy is in australia at this time. |
Mike Amott isn't even an original member, what's that matter? |
he's not an original member, but he's involved in the reunion plans with steer and walker, so i doubt they'd play without him. |
That's stupid. He wasn't even involved in the era when Carcass was actually Carcass. Necroticism was the downfall. |
i like all their stuff, but i understand where you're coming from. amott had nothing to do with classic carcass. |
I don't blame Amott for their direction change, and I do like Carnage and Arch Enemy's Black Earth and Stigmata; but they should just do a 3 piece set and play nothing but Reek/Symphonies material. Of course I could see them doing the opposite, and playing Heartwork all the way through. |
Heartwork vs Necrotism...?? |
Necrotism is awesome, the only ones i cant get into are Reek (too noisy for me) and swansong (you can tell they wanted it to be the last one) |
If you dont like Reek you are missing the point of Carcass! |
I always thought I never cared for tools for the trade, but I just looked it up and I was confusing it with swansong. |
