I still have my college-era job because I've been waiting for a call back from a position in an organization I applied to almost a year ago. After a lengthy, significantly intricate process, I am expecting a call any day for a position that will net me a high 39K a year. Currently, I am a poor sap paying of student loans (among other bills) at a shabby $10/hr where I get fuckin' 1099'ed at the end of the year.

i just got a farming job SW of pittsburgh
ill be making 20K/ year, with 5 weeks paid vacation in Jan, 50 hours of paid vacation time during the season, and $100/month for a health plan, not bad for 25 years old i guess

$20/hr, when i work in my chosen field, nearly $30/hr when i work for my dad's company doing physical labor and truck driving.

i can't pay all my bills this month

roughly 42K a year, but this is just my second year and remember a third of my wages get taxed to fund bullshit.

Slave wages, for real. My school decided to not pay me a months worth of work study and refused to pay me for design work I did for the school's paper.

Eh, I'm putting in for all these post-grad jobs out west that'll make me between 30-40K a year.

So, $44,621.03 net after 26% of my income goes to the government (this is why its important to vote, kiddos). About half of whats left goes to rent, utilities, and loans. Half of whats left after that goes into my 401k. And the rest I spend on obscure death metal, hardcore, and grind CDs.

So I do alright. I'm due for a raise on the full time job soon.

I get paid various wages between 14-20 dollars an hour by various companies that I work for. All of it goes toward food, alcohol, rent for this cheap shitty ungirlfriendly appartment, and fixing a car of the aforementioned value. Its all I can afford whilst saving up to afford better surroundings and getting better at what I do to eventually get more $$.

8 bucks an hour cashiering. I'm due for a raise this month though, and there's talk of promoting me.

i just went into business selling competitive energy. i expect to make somewhere around 40 grand this year to start. chillin in my schweet office right now watchin the celtics game.

I'll let you know this time next year.

$6 an hour, the $2 delivery charge for every delivery I make, and whatever tips I get for driving people their pizza. I get decent cash when it's busy and it's all under the counter but my car has become totally fucked since I started this job and I don't get enough hours, and because of my car being fucked, one of my bosses would rather not do deliveries when there's nobody scheduled than have me do it. Fucking skinny ass dick.

I gave up a job that was paying me $45K a year plus a maximum of $12K bonus at the end of the year, on top of a company credit card for food, gas, auto maintenance and any other reasonable business expenses, SUV, computer w/ wireless internet that could also be used on my computer, 3 months off paid and 4 weeks paid vacation, and free health insurance. This all sounds fine and dandy, but when I was actually working this job I wanted to shoot myself in the face.

I'm not sure how much I make now since I do freelance illustration and seasonal work to make sure I can actually pay the bills. One thing's for sure, I'll be making a hell of a lot more money this year that I expected doing what I actually love.

freelance musician/student.
between semesters i live on couches and eat generic brand frosted flakes out of a bag and pabst for breakfast lunch and dinner. when i worked at american insulated panel over the summer i made 10/hr. if i end up teaching when i get my masters i'll make between 35-40K when i start.
