Hell Within(formerly Twytch)
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...on=user.viewprofile&friendID=558544

i don't think they realized the ultra BrOoTaL deathcore bandwagon has arrived, plain ol' metalcore is so yesterday...

Which ones can you remember??

Meathead #1: "Yeah guy, 'Twytch' was like way cool like 2 years ago, but now we're like taking this new direction, we need a way more br00tal name to match like the super-heavy breakdowns, guy."

Meathead #2: "Yeah guy, I like had this dream, where we were all like 'in hell' together moshing it up, and you guys were like naked, but er, well, in a way tuff way, not gay, guy. Anyway guy since we were like 'in hell', let's call it 'Hell Within'!"

***grunts of approval***

Actually I can't make too much fun of band names, my band is cursed with "Life at Zero".

Since when was Mudvayne metalcore? They're one of the only nu-metal bands I can listen to, and that's only for their first cd, and for their bassist. Plus, this whole thing asks for New England bands, which neither Chimaira nor Mudvayne fall under.

I don't like some of hell within's vocals, but forgetting the twytchage, they have some pretty good riffage

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jan 7,2008 11:15am
Never been a fan of either band. I met two guys from Hell Within because they came into my work for an oil change. I was talking to them about shit like touring (they were leaving for tour the next day), their label, and stuff with their car (they had me change the oil, flush the coolant system, and recharge the AC). The driver was pretty cool, but the passenger (I'm not sure which members they were) seemed kinda cocky, always talking about how they're Lifeforce's best selling american band and shit.

And by their car, I mean their tour van.

toggletoggle post by diarrhea_blumpkin at Jan 7,2008 7:14pm
its called the devil driver effect.... coal chamber (nu-metal) turns into devil driver (metal core)... and gayness ensues...

weren't on broken wings a rapcore band before being the hardcore supah power? No every one starts off liking good music you know

Also, thy will be done was a nu-metal group called.. um.. something nu-metally.

leviticus was nu-metal. now they are a metalcore band called til we die.

K in the place of a C.
like a Y in place of an I.
sign #1214 that you might be nu-metal.

ya i think they are preparing for the comeback of nu-metal...

makes me cringe at the thought that one day someone is going to call Godsmack classic.

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jan 8,2008 9:07pm
It's pretty surprising how many older people (40ish) consider bands like Disturbed and Godsmack to be metal. As in, along the same lines as older metal bands. I may not be surrounded by the best of people possibly...
Just weird when someone says "fucking Slayer!!!" and follows with and "fucking Godsmack!". How did they get invited along? Oh, they're that Slayer fan.

I'm way off base but I did say kobalt first Rich.

Mr. Richards has the story on OBW The Rapcore Years.
