Those pics look like a lot of people having fun. Reminds me of this place in NYC called ABC NO RIO which was basically a squat that had shows. Always a good time. What does one have to do to get a show at this place?

georgie can hook you up.
the show was cool.
it's a basic basement with egg-crate up all over the place.

if there were a fire, we'd all burn to death.

How does it sound?

George from Aganihm, or talk to Jonah from TDBRecords/SLAWALWAD.
For a basement it sounded pretty good. The room carried a lot of bass around. The PA was way too loud at that show but aside from that it's a decent sounding place.

hey, a loud pa is better than a not so loud one, like the Chopping Block.

Email Dan at Thehossboston@hotmail.com to book shows. That house used to be called The House of Suffering and it was basically a punk house. Then those kids moved out and new kids moved in and renamed it the House of Suffering Succotash (hoss). They'll let you book basically any kind of music you want, and the only rules are that you respect the house and neighbors, and shows have to be over by 10:30.

Also, im pretty sure the abc no rio is still alive and well, but i've never been there myself..
