New site? Maybe some day.
this ones for rilly.
i'm sure he has backstage passes. |
And by backstage passes you mean knee pads and a non-existant gag reflex. My third favorite fictitious antagonist on RTTP right behind Radical Dirtbiker and that Autopsy prick. |
are you calling dwyer and fictitious character? |
yes he's calling them both on the phone right now |
xanonymousx said: are you calling dwyer and fictitious character? |
Surely your joking. |
Who is this Dwyer you speak of? Pssh - next thing I know, you're probably gonna tell me that DaveFromTheGrave and CNV are real dudes. I wasn't born yesterday, pal. Niggour, puh-leez! |
I'm going to be there.
didn't know I needed knee pads. |
And a condom, Rev. I hear the air is humid and heavy with GRID. |
I should find out what time this starts |
And whether they prefer ribbed or plain. |
$35! I'd go for $15, maaaaybe $20... but fuck that. |

if i go it will be the 5th time seeing all of these bands except lamb of god.
they never play what i want to here its lame.
i heard blood has been shed [the other members] will be there. |
maybe i'll make a cameo on vh1 again like the last time i went there. |
hey rev do you have any rttp sweatshirts?
um.. I have some in my trunk. I would have to look at the sizes, but I think they are all either M or L. maybe one S. |
if you have a medium that'd be cool if i could grab one. somehow if you have a small i'd take that too...
let me know what time your heading down there and we'll meet outside or something. |
I'll probably be there around 7-ish. I will be living work to pick something up for carina around 5ish so I will look in my trunk then.
I'm going pretend I'm carina mastrocola and park in the side vip lot |
i went down there to get a ticket, there were about six middle school kids already there who said "yeah killswitch dude"
this was at 3.
i got discounted ticket too since i'm good. |
i'll be walking over the bridge which is near the west entrance i believe.
when i go so i'll probably run into you.
didn't see you outside. im inside now waiting for the show to start. |
yeah! flash!
soilwork: they only got to play 5 songs. 2 I know off NBC. The other 3 were newer so I don't know them. |
devildriver: there were all sorts of 45 year old males and 14 year old girls who were all excited about devil driver coming on. They even tried doing one of those "let's go red sox" things but with devil driver. No one that is into DD interests me in the least. This was the first time the drummer wasn't wearing a SBC shirt. Where was he for the reunion? they had some sort of large circle pit action for the last song. |
Wow! Nothing off of Chainheart or Predator's Portrait? There's a surprise. |
So my girlfriend is watching something terrible (as I'm told lady Gentiles are wont to do) on the local NBC affiliate and I'm being cool - y'know, admiring my pornographies, sipping fine bourbon and flogging my slaves- and the station did one of those random weather condition updates. The portly meteorologist looked at the screen behind him and began to gesticulate wildly towards the deep-blue shaded "Lowell,MA" region of the map. Taking a moment's rest from my intense regiment of scorching arpeggios, I heard "BLAH BLAH BLAH tsongas arena BLAH BLAH BLAH apocalyptic phenomena BLAH BLAH BLAH subarctic douche chillz BLAH BLAH BLAH bjorn speed strid BLAH BLAH BLAH". |
lamb of god: they sounded excellent. This band always brings plenty of gear to fill this huge cavernous arena. They mentioned the palladium which of course is cool. It's a great thing when good dudes get to be this big. Before their second song they gave an extended thanks to all the crew that makes this show and shows like this possible. Most definitely kind dudes to the max. They put on an awesome set. I think they played for an hour. |

i looked around for awhile. didn't see you either.
i saw you inside taking pictures though.
suckage. |
i was bored all night sitting in section n i think.
i see me in this picture but yeah.
lamb of god was way too loud in my opinion reverb to the max but they were the best at the show.
i left so i could walk back a bit early since i had a 15 minute walk by myself it sucked that the kid i was suppose to meet up with never showed. |
Wow, 4 bands that I absolutely hate. Nice pics though. |
did anyone else notice the cowbell metronome that killswitch was using that came out of the speakers whenever there was tempo changes? |

for what it's worth, if you listen to blood has been shed, you'll see that justin foley can actually play the drums....quite well |

Yeah, I know, I just went for the cheap shot. Can you blame me?

ohh not at all. however, im sure that it was probably for other members of the band, as justin foley is probably the least likely to need a click, he's probably the best musician in the band |
I cant believe that had sumthing to keep time for them, Thats part of playing music keeping time. Pretty unheard of to me. And very disapointing that its exceptable. |
i'm guessing it was something that was suppose to only come out of their monitors and the sound guy messed it up somehow. |
i thought i was going to hear some slayer.
i didn't though maybe that was a good thing.
that intro pissed me off. |
