I'm announcing my departure from Shroud of Bereavement.
I've shared some awsome times with all my fellow band mates, met some awsome fans, and played some of the best shows in my life, but alas, I have reached the end of the road. This is a personal decision from me, and I will remain close friends with, and continue to fully support Shroud in any way that I can.
I thank you all for an amazing 3 years of my life, the times we shared will never be forgotten!
Cheers!!! |

That's too bad man -- you going to be working on anything new in the future? |
yeah, I'll definitely be working on music in the future, music is a HUGE part of my life, so musically no one's heard the the last of me! |
Was the brisk pace too much for you? *rimshot* |
ROFL! nah. I'm just at a point in my life that I don't have time for a lot, my wife and I just bought a house and I need he time away from being a member of the scene to collect my thoughts. I'm still on good terms with the band, and I will continue to support them, I just don't have the time or energy to dedicate to the band anymore, and instead of holding them back, I am stepping down to let them continue on without a hindrance from me |
Best of luck to you dude! You still going to work on the Shroud website? |
yeah, I'm going to finish up working on the website I was working on for them. after I push that live I'm not sure what I'll be doing as far as that goes, but at any rate the new site will be launched shortly.

I fortell, you cut you hair and then totally pussy out. never to be seen again. thatzs the natural trend, right? |
and what are you going to do with all that time you've clear up one night a week from 9pm to 1:30am |
sorry to hear it, mark. shroud won't be the same without you, but they'll still be good. best of luck to you and to shroud and hope to still see you out at shows. looking forward to hearing your future musical endeavors. |
HAHA, I won't cut my hair, not unless someone's going to pay me a high six figure salary to sit on my ass and do nothing.
as for the free time I'll be able to get back into coding/designing and writing music. I also am taking the time to work on my chops and become a better guitarist. |

thanks man! yeah, I'll still be out at shows. I'm gonna try to make it to Ralphs for the Death tribute night, maybe stealing one of the mic's on stage to sing crystal mountain with you guys (unless you cover empty words, which is one of my fav Death songs) |

quiting a band to have more time for music.. huh.. |
Well, in the time it takes Shroud to get to the bridge of a song, lesser bands can perform a 2-disc concept album, so it makes a certain kind of sense. |
