They illegally hacked into our page, hid the code and fucking are selling our music without our permission to our fans. I called them, emailed them and no reply!!!!!!

How are they selling your music? And it's probably someone posing as them. I really doubt a company would hack into a doom metal's myspace and pull something like this so they can get sued.

I don't know, I'm just looking for an excuse to cause somebody's house to "somehow" burn down.

snocap is just the service. somehow you must have enabled it. if anyone is going to get any money out of it, it's going to be you guys.

why don't you just log in and remove it?

I can't. I just went to our page one day, and boom, there it was. Buy our songs for 99cents. I did nothing, and when you look at the code for the music box thing, It's not there(hidden)

contact myspace. if you use the same e-mail address that you signed up with to get your lost password and tell them what happened they should be able to help(unless they're in cahoots, or think you're some hacker that got both the accounts for the page)

it amazes me that there are people that have nothing better to do with their time than sit on a computer and find ways to rip you off/make your life inconvenient by destroying your computer with adware and spyware and all that garbage.

i do not support any type of badware. that being said, how can you not understand why people do it?

for $$$$$$$... let me put it this way. a lot of people in this world we live in would very quickly find their moral boundaries dissolving when they are presented with the means and opportunity to make 4 or 5 figures profit per day breaking the law. i know for a fact that some of these spammers and adware guys make that. hopefully that gives you a little insight into why they have "nothing better to do with their time."

and just for the record, fuck anyone who commits fraud, does botnets, phishes, or distributes any form of badware. regardless of anyone's position on these activities, the motivation behind their unethical and illegal actions is abundantly clear - MONEY.

yeah adware guys are usually pretty scummy. sometimes though they are just blackhat SEO's who get their GOogle Adsense account banned and are lazy and just redirect to those shitty "scareware" pages. so fucking annoying.

botnet guys are wayyyyyyyy fucking worse though. there was just a big arrest of some security consultant reformed hacker out in LA who had a botnet going that would log paypal and other sensitive login info and make withdrawals and then he would have underage kids cash the checks / make the withdrawals from on eof the dump accounts. fucking scumbags.

I agree with what someone said earlier, why us? A doom band who makes no bling to begin with. Why not do it to I don't know, Brittney Spears, or Metallica, or Garth Brooks. WTF! It just kicks us in the dirt that much more. Our album leaked like 5 months before the release, The tribute thing leaked already. As it is, you can google the band and find literally 100's of these download sites selling our music for pennies, I don't get it, how is this even legal? Any money that could have been made, is squeezed out from these bloodsuckers. It's a fucking shame what music has become. And I won't even get started on places like Marks, where they also cram it up the working band's asses. Fuck the whole music industry. I say we all go back to pressing records my buddy suggested that, and I really like the idea.

Myspace is linked with that company or whatever the hell it is. They wouldn't just automatically sell your music...it must have been someone who has access to your account and access to your music.

I can log into the actual Myspace account all day, I can't log into the SNOCAP account, see? And I never opened one to beging with, nor did anyone else in this band. I called the SNOCAP company, because who ever hacked us used their software, so maybe they would have an idea on how to get rid of it. Also, after emailing Myspace, they told me they can't do anything because Myspace doesn't support SNOCAP. Fucking BULLSHIT!

Ha ha, wow I had forgotten this one. Turns out that our label sold the rights or some shit, and they just planted it on our page. What fucked me up was that it was coded on our page and I never gave the permission. Whatever that whole fucking deal with that label was fucked from the start.
