New site? Maybe some day.

My rape fantasies don't take good photos. |
BOB: I like the DOF of the veteran's side and the skin tones of that kid.
DFTG: I would like to see that lake picture, steaming but down at the water's edge, about shin height. I can't believe that dude on stage with DF. did I miss that? |
Nice pics rev...
A view of Seabrook NH |

mike: neat, looks like you are using a nice p&s. those things are very versatile. the second set have a lot better color/contrast than the second set. probably a different camera. The second set are better pictures because of that.
CNV: I love shooting over seabrook harbor. lots of flat water and the sun sets right over the towers if you are on the seabrook side. is that the plant over that island? |
nice macro. I don't have any macro lenses. I need to stack an extender tube on to a lens to get something like that. Manual focus stinks. |
Thank's rev, I have more on deviantart/mikeatzero603 |
That damn manti, I too 173 pics of that thing, 25 came out how i wanted. I really like taking pics of insects and animals, inanimate objects, haunted palces ect.... I just need a good digital camera. I have 2 sweet 35mm slr, but no digi |

I was going to buy a new camera this past weekend but felt guilty spending money on just me and ended up buying some desperately needed new furniture. I've got some cash saved up still though, so pretty soon I'll have some pretty pictures to share. Hopefully. Stupid Xmas shopping. |
Planned a couple of photo shoots for this Saturday. Will post some pics from those when I get them. |
All the pictures I took lately are SUPER illegal. |
Wow, will post more when I can get links that'll work. Picasa + RTTP = not friendly. |
tom, I didn't make you.
what I said was I made a recent picture thread.. not that you care, read, post anymore. |

A recent one taken from a viewpoint at the base of High Rock tower in Lynn. |
aaron, come take pictures of my mini-statue. |
I should really invest in some lens, all I have is the one that came standard with my camera.
Mikeeatzero. Is the cemetery shot from Gilson road in Nashua? |

I hate when sites like that won't allow you to hotlink images. I just bought a Zenfolio account which allows it and has unlimited storage for $40/year, I just need to upload everything to it. |
I think it's an issue with the privacy functions. I have all of my pages unlisted so that people can't order prints through Picasa without checking with me (I had about 70 pics printed and didn't even know it...) so I set up an album that was public with one pic from each series and made a slideshow. Can't post it here though, Picasa still isn't RTTP friendly. I'll grab some pics from the Death Wish MySpace.

Oh, and for everyone who blabs about how these picture prove somehow that I hate women...
You're wrong.
Anyone, male or female, interested in dying for me, drop me a line. |
lynn looks clean in that picture.
picasa "does" allow linking if you know how they were. the problem is that the front end is flash. |

I'll have to check into that & figure out how to do it. I figured most of the problem stemmed from my setting the photo albums as unlisted/private, but then the public pics wouldn't work either. Thanks for the tip Rev. |
'tis a shame I'm nowhere near that web-savvy! Kudos, Carina's site looks killer. |

The problem with getting into photography at 30 years old is that I see a thread like this and realize I'm so damned far away from ever being able to take photos like some of the ones in this thread.
Some of these pictures are awesome. |

Fat lady that blocked up the entire right side of the stairs at Quincy Center. About 12 people, including myself, stood behind this woman, who refused to move, and watched the train pull away. I was gonna post it on Craigslist. I still might.

Dude, I'm 32 and feel EXACTLY the same way. I skimped and bought the best camera I could afford because there's no way I could justify buying one for $2600 (at the time anyway.) I never intended to be a photographer, I just do it for fun. It kills me when someone out there writes me in appreciation for what I do because the whole time I'm sitting on my computer drooling over the incredible shots that get posted by the Rev on RTTP or shit from Tom's site or Carina's, or Bruce from ZeroFlesh, or Pia, I could literally go on forever just about the great photographers in NE, I'm beyond flattered and point them toward the aforementioned photogs and tell them that's where it's really at. It's still fun as all hell though! Get into it for that I guess. I don't know shit about shit, even after 3 semesters in black & white film photography, especially now that I shoot all digital (wicked smaht of me...) so I just appreciate all this great art and have fun doing my strange little thing. |

Agreed, the fun of it more than makes up for feeling like a total retard when looking at threads like this or the pretentious douchebags in my class trying to explain why they took a bunch of photos of their faggy roommate looking sad in the park.

Ugh, dude, I was in class with a girl who took three 36exp rolls of film of her friend's face. The assignment was to take an entire roll of film, 36 photos of one inanimate object (a face is not inanimate, but she was an idiot.) They all had the same gay blur effect that she got swishing the camera around with the shutter open for a bit longer than normal, and they all looked terrible. I took 36 pictures of a big, tacky, as-seen-on-TV knife, most of which also just happened to have my sister in law dressed as a dead hooker bleeding out in the background. The knife was always the sharpest focus and the central point of the picture. I shot it as a joke. 24 shoots later...
Awesome. What did your teacher say? The bloody handprint on her shoulder is the perfect touch. |
She loved it and told me that this was my "thing," that I should keep shooting these the way that I do and never stop. It was very weird. I expected her to give me the "Awww, come on..." look, but it was the total opposite! She's an older lady, wicked fucking cool and open minded, and to my surprise, she got the biggest kick out of it. I have more fun shooting this stuff than anything else. It's all business for the 20-30 minutes I end up actually maneuvering and taking pics, but the rest of the time, setup, makeup, building the scene or whatever, it's a total blast. |
I think the one thing is that the eyes of the murdered look too lively.
there needs to be some way make her eyes look dead.
I've been in a photoclass this semester...so all of my recent non concert pictures are on film.
i hate it when a picture looks less dark online then when it did when i was editing it. |
that's the real issue now. the dynamic range that digital/monitors can display is only like 12 stops. film can show what 15+? some day. you can approximate it with HDR. getting the right curve down for film scanning can take a bit of work. |
This thread has some cool fucking pictures. |
more peole need to post more pictures! |

Rev, if you can give me the exact method of posting Picasa pics here, I've got a ton of UE shots and some cool nature stuff to post. |

A lens baby achieves the same effect, correct? Seems like it would be easy with one of those and they're pretty cheap too. |
