jack-knife sound on the guitars, Bob Weston on bass (how else can u really describe it?), the usual Albini cavernous drum sound...
at times this sounds more like a sound installation than rock...the effect is disquieting.
"The End of Radio" recommended in particular, b/c it's the most on-target depiction of world Armageddon I've heard, even in metal. No small feat.
