the day after your WUNH debut.

I might make it to this one.

toggletoggle post by George   at Jan 1,2004 12:55pm
you should come. it's a basement show, which are 100000000 times more fun than shows in clubs. Jonah who's booking the show was trying to get shallows and flats to play. speaking of which, do you have their contact info?

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 1,2004 12:58pm
we saw derek from s & f last night actually..i think he's on this board too..

aaron?

toggletoggle post by JonahBloodbath   at Jan 1,2004 2:10pm
The deal with this show is that its almost definetly Motion Sickness's last show, so each member of the band is picking an opening band they want to play. Right now Aganihm and Fruit salad are confirmed, and Shallows and flats and Gun it! are almost certain. It should be a fun show..

Also, i think the first band is going to go on at 7:00ish, but it doesnt hurt to show up at 6 if you want to hang out. This is a really cool house and most of the people that live there are usually up for playing video games and drinking..

toggletoggle post by jonah at Jan 1,2004 7:22pm
Gun it confirmed.

toggletoggle post by mark-   at Jan 2,2004 12:46pm

toggletoggle post by JonahBloodbath   at Jan 2,2004 1:52pm
yeah, joseph told me last night...too bad..

anyway, this show would be great with just these 4 bands, but we're working on a 5th right now..

hah, no I understand how to post an image on here, but obviously the flyer is waaay to fucking big to just post as is. I've been posting a smaller version of it as a link to the big version as not to fill up too much space, but it looks like you can't do that on here..

I wanted to post this:

Rev, seriously thanks so much for coming..

I don't know if Motion Sickness was really your thing, but it was our last show and it was really important to all of us. I'm glad we have your pictures to remember it..

Actually, I saw a few dudes from this board at the show, thanks to all you guys for coming. Besides being the last MS show, it was the first show I've booked and i'm looking forward to doing a lot more..

toggletoggle post by DeOdiumMortis  at Jan 7,2004 12:27am

Oddly similar? You be the judge.

as long as were all living...were all dying: when I saw them the first time, I didn't really know anything about them and I was trying out a new camera so I wasn't really paying attention. they seemed a lot more punk with brian (aganihm's bassist) playing and singing with them. now, it was more hirudinea meets the melvins with a little punk flavor tossed in.

aganihm: they played a few songs. then the bass head blew up and the bassist jammed his finger. I've seen them sound better, but it was cool to see people kicking for them. the guy sining in the audience, used to do back ups for them from what I hear.

fruit salad: I'm not quite sure. sort of like a younger dropdead if they only covered minor threat songs. posi.

motion sickness: yes, this was their last show. true, this wasn't really my bag, but it was interesting. They sounded like an art-rock band with 70's riffs in it. late 90's dischord meets clapton's cream. I could see them doing well on tour with switches, ames curve, and the young idea. the weird thing was the singer moshed and his lyrics were pretty hardcore-ish.

ok well my first post ever on this site was botched... but this is brian (bassist for aganihm) its not a jam...its broken..pretty bad...it'll take 3 months to heal fully...oh well... thanks for coming.... and d'oh at the botched post

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jan 7,2004 12:58am
geez... that sicks.
no more shockers for you.
well, until girls morph into ovoducts like chickens.

twas a good show, or at least all that i saw of it. i heard as long as we're all living...'s last song, and it was wonderful just as always. aganihm was quite the fun time. be on the look out for them at the next bitter end fest, wink wink. brian's pinky was quite unattractive after its little incident, but he kept playing. i salute you! i stayed for 1 fruit salad song, not too bad. but the terrible stench of BO and the intense heat made me feel like i was trapped in a gigantic dutch oven if you will...so i had to jet.

As long as we're all living we're all dying is terrible.
I hope they die.

Did I ever mention how on another message board one time they said Bane of Existence, Random Acts of Violence, Paranoid and Cryptic Warning were terrible nu-metal bands?
Did I also mention one of the fags in that band was wearing knee high pink socks? You could tell they went high because he was wearing capri pants.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jan 7,2004 9:27am
I hate to agree with joe n/c, but capri pants are one of the worst things ever invented.
I know that wasn't his original point, but man I hate them.

negative comments aside, a show with:
shark mountain, alawalwad (or whatever it is), lightning bolt, conifer, and fourhorse would be an amazing, amazing set.
I strongly suggest that the kids who were into a long as we're... go check out one of the shows of conifer on their mirco tourage this thrusday thru sunday.

haha, oh man..that was what....like a year ago? We played a terrible show and sam ran his mouth a bit online. I haven't heard all those bands, but its safe to say they aren't nu-metal. That doesn't change the fact that that was a pretty shitty show and we were pretty disapointed by it. If you actually have a problem with me or my band feel free to aim me and talk about it: skatinforsatan

and for the record, sam wears shants, cut off pants. not "capris". If you have a problem with his socks, im afraid you'll have to take that up with the both of us.

toggletoggle post by jay-ganihm  at Jan 7,2004 2:10pm
shants are one of the best things ever created. i am a strong supporter of shants. capris, however, are some of the lamest things ive ever seen in my life. why would one spend money on them, when they could take a pair of pants that are too short and cut them? why do people wear them in the winter? the world may never know. ok, im all done talkin. feel free to bash me, as always.
