can you eat Coyote?

You can, but they would taste disgusting. There is open season on them because they kill all of the fawns during the late summer and fall. They also depleted the Eastern turkey population to the point of endangerment in the mid 20th century due to strict hunting laws on coyotes. We have literally millions of coyotes up here.

They used to actually pay hunters by the pelt for coyote kills.

I've had peppered wolf jerky.. It wasn't too bad and couldn't be much different than coyote.

jerky meat is obv different though.

If I can land a particular job I've been hoping to get for quite sometime, I will definitely have the $$ to buy a new rifle for deer hunting season. I hope to go during black powder season with a .50 cal Thompson. Venison stew, mmmmmmmm.

I would love to be able to afford to hunt again. Too much other crap I gotta buy.
