If you're looking for legible, Guttural Graphics may not be the perfect choice. Most of his stuff is very hard to read, but who knows. I haven't seen Alex (the Guttural Graphics dude) post any newer stuff lately, so he may have made some changes to his style.

i make good legible logos. i have a masters in graphic design.

I don't mean to knock anyone for their artistic expression or whatever, but that Stygian Logos page makes me cringe. I mean, we all have to start somewhere, but 90% of the stuff on there is just basic fonts with bevels and chrome plug-ins. Argh.

Ken (dreadkill) does awesome work; the Dreaded Silence logo baffles me. Go with him!
