Come check out my acoustic metal cover project this sat at the chili head...We will be playin 2hrs of metal classics......Some people showed an intrest in checkin this out last time i posted about it...thought i'd throw it out there. We could use some metal heads to help us sing along and spread some blasphemy!
We will be playing:
Slayer,wargasm,death,exodus,D.R.I.,metallica,S.O.D.,deicide,megadeth,morbid angel and more....(all acoustic!)
Sick! That place is pretty much a straight shot (after 1 turn) from my house. I don't believe I have anything going on that day so I think I'll have to go.
Fuck. I have a show in NY that day. I need to see this shit some time. Are you going to be doing this again Rob?

hell ya...We will see how this goes ....and see if this venue will book us again for a showcase. This is our first all night gig.... every time we do the open mics the place goes crazy.. After this we are gonna start hitting other open mics everywhere...we have a huge list of them...and alot of them already heard about us and want us to come down... We need some metal heads to come and sing pull the plug!!!!!!

cant wait for this, i work in same plaza and the people i see going into Chili Head are not the type to be down with some acoustic thrash should be a great time

We will not dissapoint...alot of songs we dont play in its entirety(hey dwyer spell check that for me) but remember..its all acoustic and metal solos sound dumb as fuck with out effects and alot of songs get dragged out with no drums. We tie alot of songs into each other and do our own versions but its sounds heavy as fuck so....i hope you'll all enjoy it.....
i think.....im not totally sure until i get there.....hopefully we have 2hrs worth of material.....and i hope we dont break as many strings as we did at practice yesterday..scott u might have to tell some rape jokes if that happens..lol

Tonight was fucking awesome. It is definitely in the top 5 shows I've ever been to, especially since I got to hear "Angel Of Death" twice. I will be looking forward to more Thrashterpiece Theatre shows. Awesome meeting DestroyYouAlot and Boine as well.

So, looks like RTTP Live was a success. *snort* I don't know what was better, hearing / screaming along to the tunes, or screaming 4chan memes back and forth across the bar. (Although that one girl, whoever you are - I'm betting you post here - your pronunciation of Pedobear's name was unforgivable. Thou shalt not take His name in vain.) It literally turned into this forum, in live format. I forgot to yell out "first," though - my B.
SO FUCKING DRUNK. If the half of the night I remember is any indication, I had a blast. I'm pretty sure I screamed out "Dargonforce" about 50 times. Good times hanging out with Boine, Nicc, MFR, and your friend whose name I forgot in my wastedness.
BTW, those fucking 2-star wings KILLED ME. Sweat pouring, eyes stinging, couldn't eat half of them killed me. Bummed me out, too, I was starving. They also forced me to down a thousand porters in quick succession to kill the burn - apparently I killed the keg?
(Rumor has it we went to another bar after this? I don't remember, but Katie assures me it's the case. I just know I woke up on the porch with half of a cold cheeseburger sitting on my stomach, which I immediately ate.)

yeah, the chilli was rated 1-15. anything over 11 you had to sign a waiver (wtf!) i love the hots, but to play it safe i order 6/7.
