that's a shitty assumption. soul control sounds like they should've been on victory records in the early 90's when they were still putting out hardcore records. reminiscent of 108, burn/orange 9mm, quicksand, etc. might not be your thing, but they do it well. personally i think it's awesome.
also, i think verse's new record is the best thing they've done since the 4 song ep.

yeh! I love both soul control and verse, and am honored to be from the same city as them and to play the same show as them. plus they're ridiculously funny dudes all around.
