Coalesce is not Coalesce without Jes, they are a Coalesce cover band.

"As has been rumored, Coalesce will indeed be touring in August. Additionally, the group has also announced plans to release a new 7", titled "Salt and Passage," on September 11th. The current line-up of the band is: Jes Steineger, Nathan Richardson, Nathan Ellis, and Sean Ingram."

Jes came back for the reunion like 2 years ago(when hellfest got canceled and they played somewhere in PA)

I honestly haven't heard their latest stuff, but I wasn't huge on their ep Robtic Empire put out. Not saying it was bad...just not my cup o' tea.
But yeah I just feel like they are an odd fit on the coalesce tour, but I guess SYNT and Daughters will bring out the youngins. They should add a br00tal band like emmure

Bands are Thy Will Be Done, Circle Takes the Square, See You Next Tuesday, Daughters, then Coalesce. Could there possibly be more crap to sit through while waiting for Coalesce?

thy will be done: played a good set. I was sort of busy trying not to sweat that much while still getting around and take some pictures. Not sure why I'm not into the show yet. The singer makes me feel like I'm choking. All that hair flying everywhere. It makes me think of inhaling all of it if I were to do that. The crowd didn't seem to into it but the guitarist busted out some pretty nice riffs.

circle takes the square: the crowd definitely looked more like a ctts crowd. So many youth faces up front for a show that is headlined by and old fart band. While they played I thought the crowd was just painted there. For almost 1/2 the set, no motion at all then I noticed one person bobbing their head frantically. You could almost count it down at that point. 3..2...1... And bang, the music kicked in. Everyone's hands flew up into the air and the crowd surged forward. I guess it was vocals they were waiting for. The crowd seemed to enjoy the rest, but it was over so quickly. The pictures are going to blow compared with the elk's from years ago... But damn, that was afine set. I was these guys to tou with rosetta and play my basement for 3 nights straight.

see you next tuesday: super animated and super all over the place on stage. These dudes were the most brutal music-wise and had the best stage presence. 25 minutes of jumping head first into the audience and having them spit ya back up on the stage. That must take a lot out of a band. Add in playing their instruments and screaming (plus a few extra-pounds) and you have a work out approved by both richard and gene simmons. I loved how they made fun of the crowd for being young too. When ever I see them, I think to myself "self, check out their new material" but then I always forget to.

daughters: they become more and more of a band each time I see them. Well, a real band fronted by king of the hill's boomhower. All of the old "we are better than you" schtick is gone and they replaced it with more "thank you"s to the crowd. Fun set. Kids crawled along the top of the crowd and spilt on to the stage. In the end, alexis climbed up over the side of the club and along the wall (ala skinless) but didn't jump off into the audience. He did drop down to the floor which was painful to watch. No broken bones on the first date of the tour please.

I was shoked just how many people were retarded enough to leave after daughters.

coalesce ruled even though the last reunion show was much better...the rest of the bands fucking sucked ass

this was my summer......worth sitting around all day to see Coalesce.

coalesce was hands down slash up inbetween, i mean they where sick but there was something there that wasn't right

My comment could be out of line but i've been waiting for this this shit. last time i saw them in was in 02 i wasn't expecting the same pure chaos, but just a fucking flashback of the sickest band.

As was expected, this show was rather blah. Thy Will Be Done-they were ok, good overall sound but not my cup. Circle Takes the Square-I liked them. I'm not a huge fan but actually recognized several songs that I liked from a few times I've played shows with them. Good people too. See You Next Tuesday-the kids seemed to dig them but I was not one of them. They were energetic and nice guys to talk to (maybe I go to shows for the wrong reasons). Daughters-wow, I really can't stand to watch or listen to them. I sat down in the back telling myself Coalesce would be worth the wait. Coalesce-They played a handful of songs that put a smile on my face. But, I didn't like the vocals too much. Good to see them but a part of me wishes I could just remember them for what they were. Oh well. If I didn't go I would have been wishing I did.
I think the average age at this show was 18, give or take a year. Disappointing to see majority of the kids leave right after Daughters.
Rev, at a show like this you should have welcomed the nipple pinching. I'll get you next time gadget, next time.

the last reunion show was much better...dasai,isis and coalesce.....WTF at the lineup last night...i honestly couldnt tell what coalesce was playing half the time either..
