It's depressing. I have been at the same place for 10 1/2 years now. That's 2 1/2 years more than high school and college combined.

I'm going through jobsearchhell right now. Everything either a) wants me to work Saturdays (F that noise), wants me to do retail helpdesk support (i.e., explaining to bored/stoned teenagers and/or hysterical managers about why the register won't work unless you plug the power cord in), or wants me to commute in to Boston ('cause I love spending three hours a day in my car). Not amused.

i lucked out so far with this new job. cushy as fuck.

i got lucky...cushy office work til july 12, then i'm at UMASS dartmouth until aug. 7 working an all expenses paid lacrosse camp makin like $400 a week

We're all going to NC for our yearly conference. It's at a luxury resort (spa and golf) and I think i psoted pics of my room last year..specifically the jacuzzi in my room...it was nice! Anyhow, I got an award last week for all my hard work and going above and beyond for all the photo work I did. I wish I could post the photos...I was basically walking around my coworkers cubes making them do funny things...aaron saw the proof.

Heh, the "real world" is what you no longer have time to enjoy when you have a "real" job.

i beg to differ, my job allows me to do a lot and sleep in if i feel like it
