This is 1 of 3 PD shows. This is the closest to Boston/RI. The other two dates are Philly and NY.

Hope to see ya there!

there was one originally in boston, then gay as Connecticut took it.

toggletoggle post by manicmark   at Jun 8,2007 11:46am

we got offered the show and they wanted to play with us over Boston I guess.

I would do the same thing if I was on tour, to be honest

Great Scott VS El-N-Gee...hmmm...tough choice...not

hah! but seeing them at GS would be epic.

the el n gee is definitely an awesome venue for a show like this, but i wonder about the scene in CT sometimes. at the phobia/strong intention/extreme noise terror/iskra show (at the el n gee), there were at the most 100 people in the club at one time, and that was for toxic narcotic. i'm willing to bet there would be more people to see pig destroyer in boston, but i don't really care that much. i already got my ticket, so i'll be there.

Well the Disfear/Phobia show in wallingford was awesome and had over 200 people

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 10,2007 3:33pm
I was just talking to carina about being wicked tempted to head to this show. the 3hr drive is what's holding me back.

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Jun 10,2007 5:04pm
of course there would be more people at a boston show

toggletoggle post by GoatCatalyst   at Jun 10,2007 5:49pm
i wish this was at the american legion

Probably has to do with New London. The city has no redeeming qualities. Everything closes at 6 and it's not anywhere near any of the major metropolitan areas of the state.

the entire state of CT just needs to sink into the ocean anyway. except redscroll records in wallingford and phoenix records in waterbury.

toggletoggle post by GoatCatalyst   at Jun 11,2007 12:04am
you're on the fucking money, mr. fuckingrichards

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jun 11,2007 12:23am
I'm still going whether there's more people outside chillin than inside watching bands. I give you props if you do make the ride out Aaron. No carrotop shit tho.

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jun 15,2007 8:15pm
heading over. bless my 25 minute drive. you da man rev. if ur here.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 15,2007 8:29pm
nope. I should have driven there and then slept in my car in albany for mpb/starkweather tomorrow.

toggletoggle post by Lamp  at Jun 15,2007 9:42pm
I completely forgot about this.

How fast are you going to get there in 25 minutes yummy? It takes me maybe 35-40 minutes to get there and it sure as hell doesn't take ten minutes to get to your house.

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Jun 16,2007 2:39am
pig destroyer is the loudest band i've ever seen live. scott hull plays through 4 vader cabs and it makes me want to kill myself in envy. car bomb's light show looked like a giant, retarded police car.

toggletoggle post by manicmark   at Jun 16,2007 10:15am
ANYONE HAVE PICS?

toggletoggle post by christopher at Jun 16,2007 2:22pm
I do

I interviewed them too, and that went well. My first time at the club, i like it alot. All the other bands sucked. Pig Destroyer played a short set...his pedals broke? They were awesome though.

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jun 16,2007 6:51pm
I enjoyed myself. Very cool guys them Pig Destroyers. I told them my Prowler cd was stolen along with about 100 others and I had to have it back and they gave it to me for free. Super nice! Lots of fun.

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jun 16,2007 6:59pm
oh and lamp, I was doing about 85 and it does take about 10 minutes to get to my house from yours. maybe closer to 8 but still.
