I thought this had the potential to be super gay and not very funny but I laughed quite a bit throughout. Maybe I'm becoming less jaded and cynical.


fuck it, I recommend it. After watching every episode of Freaks and Geeks it's fun to watch Judd Apatow movies and see nearly every character from that show pop in.

I can't see this movie cause I would be the one saying really really loudly "WHY DOESNT SHE JUST GET AN ABORTION!?!"

i thought this was an awesome movie. 40 year old virgin was definitely the better of the 2, but knocked up had a lot more small jokes tossed all over the place.

I think it's pretty shitty to say that just because a woman doesn't want to have an abortion that she's casting an unfavorable light on women. I'm pretty sure she doesn't expect to get married and just tries to get to know the dude and see what happens.

The only upside I can see to this horrendous flick is the hotness of what's-her-face. I am assuming she shows nothing, though. Plus, I'm not sure I can get past the fact of how annoying she is in Grey's Anatomy. Then again, all the characters are fucking annoying in Grey's Anatomy.

I have a low tolerance for stupid movies, so much so that I end up going to a theatre about once a year now, because the movies over the past 10-15 years have sucked so horribly for the most part. Why anyone woould pay $10 to sit thru this is beyond me. If anyone had common sense, they wouldn't look at the perview for this and go "wow, that looks great!".

There are a lot of theaters that show movies that don't cater to the Sarah Jessica Parker Demographic.

haha...I got free movie passes when the projector fritzed out during Hot Fuzz, which I loved. So when my roomates wanted to go see this movie I wasn't going to be a self-righteous prick and say, "oh I've heard this movie is stupid and it's kind of a weak premise" and just hang out by myself like a reject all day.


I went in with low expectations and enjoyed it. Damn, Hail, you're way over-excited about this.

I went to see this with work on Friday, since there's not much to do at the office anymore. I expected it to be dumb, and like Brian, I was presently surprised. I laughed A LOT. Seriously, I thought it was wicked funny.

Apatow can do no wrong as a director. This movie was hilarious and it was nice to see his actors from throughout the years together again. Good stuff!

Alright, well I did eventually see this crappy movie, and BIG SURPRISE, it SUCKED. I did not laugh once.

Looking forward to finally seeing this - folks I know whose recommendations I trust have given it the thumbs up, and I was super into 40YOV and Super Bad.
