speaking of boobs, i think im going to this unh show. not to say im that into any bands playing. i mean red chords drummer shreds, eyey like autumn are cool dudes, and im sure letters from the dead will snatch a few more tears of avarel riffs haha. im sure it will be a good time, and to tom c and eben...it will be good to see you guys.

i don't know if there are really any identical riffs, but the style of a lot of the chug chug parts are like some tears shit, id say more of the old tears stuff. i dunno. see what derek says i guess.

the things is you guys have potential to shred, but that didnt stop you from playing half of haunted by corroded eden, if that wasnt enough, your singer had to mention the band 7 times throughout the set. no exageration. 7 TIMES. i dunno maybe im just being an ankle demon, but it gave me and derrick c a good chuccle. no dis man. im not like giving you any guff, thats just my oppinion. every one bogarts other ideas. like the enclitic DI NOT want to sound like creation is crucifixion...right.

well, the deal with me saying tears 20000 times was; we got through the first song, then tyler blurted out something about "play farmers market" or somethign dumb in some ultra cool attempt to make fun of us. so instead of getting mad and being a dick I decided to just make a joke out of it, and I wound up saying tears way more then anyone ever should in 10 minutes. apparently everyone missed the joke or I ate a big bowl of NotFunny-O's for breakfast (the latter of the 2 being the most likely). I didn't think I came off as that much of a boner but I guess I was wrong, haha nothing new for me, minus one for me i guess, sorry.

as for the similarities between tears and letters, you know I thought tears was great, and I'd be lying if I said tears didn't have a larger then average impact on the way we think of music, mainly me and sean who control most of the music for letters. so theres no big surprise that theres a good deal of similarity. lots of aspects of both bands have in many respects been done before. and im assuming both bands had alot of the same influences. all that and the guitar can only play so many notes. it just makes it that much harder to keep from accidentally ripping someone off (and accidental is what it is if we ripoff anyone). Basically we try our best not to be ripoff artists, but no matter who you are theres always gonna be some similarities with someone, and you're gonna end up stepping on someone elses riffs.

how many times have you written something that you thought was the greatest thing only to find out it's actually someone elses? Hell, other bands have even ripped US off, and I've never hesitated for a minute to call them on it. So I guess I understand why you said why you said.

opinions are great. they're better then bashing, idle threats, or my personal fav "your band sucks, lets fight...", i'm always asking for constructive criticism and I got it, so I've got nothing to complain about.

we've got new material in the works, in a little different direction, more stuff here, less stuff there, who knows maybe you won't think of us as Tears From The Dead forever.
