Well, that sux, I was super psyched to play a show with Goreality and Anal Cunt. I sent Dirtnap Entertainment a message because no one is answering the phone over there. Hopefully Dirtnap will figure this all out.
Jennings isn't playing either, but that's a recent development. They have a new drummer and added a 2nd guitarist so they are taking a break from shows for a while.
soul remnants will be there, we prefer to play for random alcoholics who hate death metal. Plus we already prayed to Lord Schuldiner to let us play Pull the Plug, so we have to go. From the old flyer dirtnap made it looks like its Judecca's ep release party, so it should be a drunken good time regardless. Im gonna go ahead and take immortals posts to mean OfTheBetrayed is deffinately in. There will be enough bands for a blood stained fecal orgy.
Kinda odd having to rely on whether or not all these posts are legit. Actually, the other band I'm in, Neil Diamond, will be filling one of the vacant slots.

this should clear up concerns and alleviate all doubt.
It's overly obvious that AC isn't playing this show, neither is Goreality so why there's even still speculation as to the potential of these bands still playing is beyond me. And why in fucks sake did this company even promote this show with those bands playing to begin with if they never even actually talked to them? What'd they just assume that everything would be cool and hope they had nothing to do that night? This has to be one of the most fucking retarded things I've ever been a part of....I knew it was bad news once Fish told me he had no clue about this.

Yeah man this whole thing is fucked up. Seriously how hard is it to confirm if a band is playing or not?
I would just like some straight out answers is all instead of hearing 2 stories.

I've asked these Dirtnap people more than once what the fuck is going on and they keep giving me the run around pretty much calling me a liar and that all bands are confirmed to play.....uhhhhhhh hmmmm....I even sent them the link to this thread and again asked them what the deal was and they came back with the response "I don't know where you're getting your information from"

I think we're getting our information from the most reliable source...THE BANDS!
I have a feeling this may have been booked through our booking agent and he may have been the one who fucked this up. (wouldn't be the first time)
Regardless, like the guy above said, we're going to Miami tomorrow and we don't own a jet. The Miami show has been booked for months and we just got sent our plane tix so that's where we'll be.
AC is playing somewhere in Worcester on May 25th though.
The guys at Dirtnap probably just talked to the wrong people and assumed that everything was fine. But whatever, we'll see what happens. Obviously AC and Goreality aren't playing, so fuck it, let's just play anyway. It's a show, some of the bands had to cancel, no big deal. it happens all the time.
This show has been canceled! Don't go to the venue because no one will be there.
