um.. yeah, but the G4 is a power hog. |
so is the graphics card, delta1010lt, and the 2 usb cardz... plus the tthings go optical audio out i wann a play with that shit |
my AMD 1900+ gets soooooooo hot. I'm thinking of just getting a $100-$200 barebones centrino M motherboard or something. I'm just starting to realize how many PCs I have running 24-7.
Home: AMD 1900+, tivo, PS3, 400MHz G4, 14" C2D, 2x 12" centrino 1.6, 17" C2D.
Work: 700Mhz PIII dell, 3GHz P4, 2x 1GHz celeron.
that's a lot of power. I'm shitty. |
i only run 2 24/7 and one i let sleep. and only 1 lcd display. i bet the p3 is a powerhog. |
the AMD1900+ is the hog. the funny thing is that the PS3 is the most powerful computing computer here. it's amazing. |
its powerpc... im pretty sure. mr i make fun of g4 |
powerpc's are awesome... for limited applications.
my company may or may not have in the past used them in a lot of our products. give them one job and they are excellent and fast. |

now what makes them limited? i think they r more for application with less limitations. ie space and powerconsumption. |
well, they are RISC processors... |
