It's a neck swap on a stewmac DK2 production copy (lacewood jackson dk2s don't exist) with a DK2M neck like your's.

Something about the maple on the headstock makes this guitar looks way sweeter than most Jacksons. Do they only do that with maple fretboards/do they do maple fretboards with black headstocks?

I had a warmoth strat. Cool guitars. Fun to build too. Amazing quality. This might be something I have to look into! Thats beyond sexy.

This is actually my guitar...I just happened to stumble across it here today while surfing the net. It is legit Jackson. MIJ DK2GC (36). Guitar Center anniversary model from 2000ish. I threw a DK2M neck on it but, still have the original neck. (Unbound rosewood with rev. Sharkfins). Anyway, thought it was cool seeing it here today.
