I think the same sound guy that was here for the TTOS show was here for this show. He made fun of OTB while they were on stage sound checking and the first thing I heard was "I could do that better than you" and then he started to monkey scream. Oh man. so far, everything sounds like the loud end is so loud that it's clipping.
Of The Betrayed: same set I've seen at this same club before. All their friends are the drifter's crowd age and not 21+ so their really were people here. Also there was some age thing or something so they had to play first and load out right away. Lame. the low end was still over blown when they finally played 1 1/2 hrs after their sound check. for some reason steve looked extrememly asain. too bad he ain't got no skillz.
in dire need: from the clubs viewpoint.. I think they went over like... Um.. Let's say you and three of your buddies go caving and there is a cave in so the 4 of you are stuck in a little crawl way where you are basically staring at the ass of the guy in front of you until help comes and then that dude in front of you gets nervous diahrrea. The look on your face when you realize that muddy rivers are coming you way. That's it! and all cause Joey got yelled at for stepping up on the speaker basically right at the beginning of their set. That sort of set the sour mood (muddy rivers). Besides the little bit of over blown bass on everything (except the vocals), the feedback from the vocal monitor, and missing low-end of the vocals on the stage-right side of the stage, it sounded fucking awesome. during their set there were tons of hi-5's and personal thanks to every person in the front row. At some point, I heard the sound dude say he would fight the band (after joey asked for more vocals in the moniter). It also seemed like no one was keeping their edge here. Not at this bar.
all that and if you didn't know, IDN only needs one more member to start kick boxing and they get their own team backed by SUNOCO and chef boardi's pizza pockets. Suddenly, their moshing is stepped up a notch or two. Watch out in the pits kids.

hahahahahaha, why am I not surprises...oh yea
DUDE, HE LIKE DID SOUND FOR GODSMACK
how was the laser light show? We are playing there on Apr 12 or 14th or something, I am going to purposely get as drunk and ignorant as possible.
uring of the betrayed it was good.. during IDN it was just blinking lights. I like the country western dude better.
I'm really confused... I think hope there is only one band left... but there are like 20 guys hoping guitars and walking around.

I think I know who you are talking about. I think there are 2 sound dudes. 1 is an older guy who is mellow and cool as shit and the other is a dick who makes fun of people's gear and their music.
'Fuck solid state, you guys need TUBES' - fuck him, I'm poor.
The sound guy from tonight is a friend of ours, and a long time family friend of Shaun. He attempted to record us last year but everything got all fucked up. That's basically why he was fucking around with us like that. He pretty much hates solid state and is not afraid to show it. He was also a pain in the ass to work with while recording and I was getting pissed to the point where I just recorded and left...and then we didn't even use those tracks.
And yes...Steve di look very asian tonight. It's gotta be the honda.
Pictures came out awesome Rev, eventually we'll have a fan base over the age of 5 years old and we'll start bringing more 21+ people to this place. I wish we could've stayed around for IDN but I blame Massachusetts and their bar rules.
The sound guy's name is Whitey. He was ragging on our shit so you just have to rag back. For instance when he was ragging on Shaun's $75.00 half stack and mentioned about how he should buy a tube head I mainly said "give us yours, I'll fight you".
