MASTODON: New Video to be Shown on 'Headbangers Ball'

Relapse Records recording artists MASTODON will see their new video -- for the song "March of the Fire Ants" -- premier on this weekend's edition of MTV2's 'Headbangers Ball'. 'Headbangers Ball' airs Saturdays from 10-12 PM EST on MTV2.

Taken from MASTODON's Remission, and also appearing on the recently released "Headbangers Ball" 2xCD compilation, "March of the Fire Ants" was filmed in the band's hometown of Atlanta with director Chad Rullman (NEUROSIS / Supercollider Films). The video, a 'surreal narrative', incorporates principal photography and MASTODON performance footage shot on location.

Additionally, the "March of the Fire Ants" clip has garnered 'Bang of the Week' honors on the official MTV.com Headbangers Ball site (www.mtv.com/onair/mtv2/headbangers_ball/) and will appear beginning Friday, November 28th.
