We are now looking for a full time bassist and drummer that are available for extensive touring.
Nat and John will end their respective positions in the band after our april tour because of other obligations.
We’ve enjoyed having both righteous dudes in the band, and wish their stays could have been longer, but each of them have numerous responsibilities to prior commitments.

With this news, we are now looking for two able bodied individuals that are ready and willing to spread the gospel of revenge.

Interested? Here’s what we need from you:

1-well, you have to be able to play our songs. The two on our page are a good representation of the current and future sound we have.

2-you must be dedicated and able to tour….a lot. There will be a couple dates at the end of may, but plans for extensive touring begin in late july, and you can plan on being in a van for most of the rest of the year.

3-must be able to get into europe / japan / australia / saturn / hoth

4-if you are in another band that plans on doing a lot, please don’t bother contacting us. This isn’t to say this can be your only band (we each have other projects), but this band is our main priority and would like to find two individuals who feel the same.

5-do it. You only live once.

So, now you’ve read 1-5 (#5 in particular, since it IS the most important thing to remember….)
Get in touch with us through here, or drop us a line :

Trapthem@comcast.net

Seriously….you’ll have fun. Lots of it. Promise.

murph in this band would rule. he's got the drumming range to handle this. too bad that john and nat aren able to stay, but I'm glad they are able to atleast do a tour before they go. I was talking to nat about this at the elks because transistor transistor is ready to head out again.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 18,2007 9:57pm
wow, Murph I would be psyched if you could do this band. These guys rule.

I completely back this band. my only problems with them are
1) they don't play enough shows
2) I can't put my CD on my iPod cause the tracklisting isn't in the CDDB or freecddb

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 18,2007 10:14pm
whoa whoa whoa

I have the tracklist, I'll post it after I type it.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 18,2007 10:14pm

1) soon...well, as soon as we are drummer ready....you should come down to providence next sunday...my last show before i move to seattle and trap them becomes a bi-coastal band
2)the titles are too long...just call it rant 1-12

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 18,2007 10:40pm
hey, I just took the time to type out the titles. So can he. Actually, he can copy and paste them from here.

I'll probably be at the Providence show next week, I hear Lightning Bolt is also playing a daytime show at the Columbus Theatre so I'll go to both.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 25,2007 10:37am
I'm going to try to make it to the show in Providence tonight. Practice usually runs late on Sunday's, so I'll probably just catch the end.

toggletoggle post by Lamp  at Feb 25,2007 12:20pm
I'll be at both Lightning Bolt and Trap Them today, although I'm sure most people in Providence are going to see Olneyville Sound System at night.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Feb 26,2007 12:17am
well, I missed the show. Practice went super late.

toggletoggle post by Murph nli at Feb 26,2007 7:38am
Show was great. I missed Playgirl, but Wasteland was tight, Architect was fucking grand and Trap Them was the shit.

Oddest "venue" I've ever been to, and weirdest crowd reaction. There were about 15-20 people crowded in a room, and after each song for each band, people were DEAD SILENT. I could tell the bands were kinda like WTF (architect drove from syracuse) but they handled it well.

ch'yea

I missed Playgirl too. I was getting worried about going to this show because I was tired and Wasteland wasn't too good and Architect was fucking terrible(and a bunch of dicks), but Trap Them made it well worth my time, thank you for screaming in my face.

Rev. try to get the track names from the CDDB. I made an attempt at getting them added them a few weeks ago, and it worked for me when I inserted the CD into another computer. If this still doesn't work, the track names are up @ trashartrecords.com.

And Murph is dead on about the response. Kids were into the bands, but you would never have known it. And anyone who missed the show should go see Trap with Torche in 2.5 weeks.
