ORIGIN will kick-off an extensive European tour starting this Thursday, February 8 in Trier, Germany. From there the band, along with tour- and label-mates NECROPHAGIST and MISERY INDEX, will continue on their “Carving Europe’s Epitaph Tour II” through 15 countries within six weeks. A listing of confirmed tour dates can be found in the tour section. ORIGIN guitarist Paul Ryan comments on the tour: “We are very excited about this opportunity to play overseas with some great bands! The almost overwhelming support has made the wait worthwhile and we are looking forward to shredding some heads everynight!!!”

Upon the completion of this tour, ORIGIN will forge ahead with writing their follow-up album to 2005’s Echoes of Decimation. Ryan divulges: “We are stoked about the material that we have now...as with all our cd’s we are trying to make the approach different than the last. We want to continue writing stuff that we ourselves find challenging as musicians as well as over-the-top in its approach. A second guitar player is going to join the band as well for the next cd! More info to be announced soon!
