i have no problem with the xxl. one of my personal favorites for a solid state high gainer.

they basically send a signal on 16 seperate channels to another midi device.
so in simple terms...
U have a Pod/any midi compatible rack proc/etc....you use the midi pedal as a in/out footswitch.
alot of midi pedals have 8 or more actual pedals, so theyre good for alot of presets/switching in live apps.
