Which one do you people consider to be their work of art? If I'm missing any let me know.

toggletoggle post by blue  at Dec 4,2006 10:48pm
in my opinion none so vile is one of the best death metal releases ever, and i think the majority of people on this board will agree.

toggletoggle post by Anthony nli at Dec 4,2006 10:53pm
ATYB for me... the fucking riffs guy

toggletoggle post by niccolai   at Dec 4,2006 10:54pm
#6. All of them.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Dec 4,2006 10:59pm
1-None So Vile
2-Blasphemy Made Flesh
3-Whisper Supremacy
4-Once Was Not
5-And Then You'll Beg

toggletoggle post by metalguy at Dec 4,2006 11:03pm
once was not was fucking horrible

toggletoggle post by DeRtOxIa   at Dec 4,2006 11:13pm
i picked None so Vile but i stil fucking love Whisper supremacy. Cold Hate Warm Blood is one of my top favorite songs of all time.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Dec 4,2006 11:15pm

toggletoggle post by ConquerTheBaphomet  at Dec 4,2006 11:45pm
I picked None So Vile, myself.

Everything on that album is tight.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Dec 5,2006 12:10am
Gah this is a toss up, I'll go with Whisper Supremacy but None So Vile is just as good.

toggletoggle post by Phillip  at Dec 5,2006 12:16am
I picked None so Vile
but both None so Vile and Whisper Supremacy are my favorites

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Dec 5,2006 12:24am
1-Whisper Supremacy
2-None So Vile
3-Blasphemy Made Flesh
4-Once Was Not
5-And Then You'll Beg

#5 is really a bad CD...

toggletoggle post by ConquerTheBaphomet  at Dec 5,2006 1:03am
I'm wearing a And Then You'll Beg t-shirt right now...

You disappoint me, Rev.

toggletoggle post by DEATH2ALL  at Dec 5,2006 1:49am
And Then You'll Beg. Whisper Supremacy is just as good, but I like the mix on ATYB better.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Dec 5,2006 2:26am
Anyone that is not picking NONE SO VILE first is fucking unbelievable!

toggletoggle post by ichabod  at Dec 5,2006 2:50am
Mike D. or bust. Sorry Wurm, we've been pals with Mike since Infestation days, therefore most biased. 'Nuff said.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Dec 5,2006 3:15am
mike sounds too hardcore... I can't get into the vocals really on cryptopsy

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Dec 5,2006 3:15am
I mena mike's vocals.

toggletoggle post by jim is to lazy to get his password at Dec 5,2006 8:21am
none so vile defintally.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Dec 5,2006 8:33am
Whisper Supremacy because of 2 words: White Worms

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Dec 5,2006 8:47am
Blasphemy Made Flesh.

toggletoggle post by hungtableed at Dec 5,2006 9:01am
I like Blasphemy Made Flesh and None So Vile just as much. They're tied for my #1 pick. You just cannot go wrong with Born Headless - that song owns.

toggletoggle post by Neverpurified  at Dec 5,2006 10:37am
None so vile is definately their best. although it, like blasphemy made flesh, lacks a great production. It would be nice to hear both those albums remastered or rerecorded with better production

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Dec 5,2006 7:58pm
HAHAHAHA!!! All wrong!! And then you'll beg is their pinnacle. Then Whisper Supremacy. Obviously DiSalvo is a better singer and it brought out the best in the band. Now you can hang me.

I second that.

This thread made me pull out all my Cryptopsy cd's. I'll have to say i still love None so Vile and Whisper the best but And then you'll beg does have it's charm. Blasphemy made flesh is probably the worst with it's terrible production but even that is still amazing musically.

I think we can all agree that Cryptopsy has never done anything terrible.

*cough* except Once was Not and their DEP-esque touring guitarist from their last tour *cough*

toggletoggle post by ConquerTheBaphomet  at Dec 6,2006 1:26am
Once Was Not was only terrible because the vocals were absolutely atrocious to listen to.

toggletoggle post by DeRtOxIa   at Dec 6,2006 1:31am
no that's not the only reason why

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Dec 6,2006 11:32am
No contest, NSV dominates!

Clean out your ears, fools.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Dec 6,2006 11:50am
Hey where's Ungentle Exhumation on this list.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Dec 6,2006 12:08pm
That's a demo, not an album, Einstein.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Dec 6,2006 12:10pm
:(

toggletoggle post by aeser   at Dec 6,2006 12:17pm
it's obviously none so vile, but i cannot fucking believe "and then you'll beg" got 7 votes and "once was not" only got 1. give me a fucking break people.

still infinately better than disalvos constipation HC vocals on whisper and and then you'll beg.

toggletoggle post by Anthony nli at Dec 6,2006 12:20pm
Disalvo was a good fit for them and the music on WS and ATYB is the most intense they've ever produced. Once Was Not was great too.

toggletoggle post by death from above at Apr 1,2011 11:51pm
used to be None so Vile but now I must say Whisper Supremacy, restarted listening to it 5 or 6 years ago, it really grew on me. I understand what their goal was for this album, musical chaos!!! far more intense than NsV (which remains close 2nd of course)

toggletoggle post by Blessed_Offal at Apr 1,2011 11:52pm
I love the first 3. Whisper Supremacy is often overlooked but killer.

toggletoggle post by ArrowHeadNLI at Apr 1,2011 11:59pm
No shit, I just opened the thread and picked. I never realized None So Vile was so fucking popular. I don't know shit about Cryptopsy, I just know that when Phobophile kicks in a get a HUUUUGE boner.

toggletoggle post by death from above at Apr 2,2011 12:21am
if you like Phobophile, you should also love Cold Hate Warm Blood on Whisper Supremacy, it's like a modernized "Phobophile". After Unspoken King, there's no hope for a new classic Cryptopsy song like the good old days, are they still alive?

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Apr 2,2011 2:10am
And Then You'll Beg...all god damn day. NSV is okay but no where near is interesting musically, vocally.

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Apr 2,2011 2:11am
so much amazing riffage on ATYB!!!!

toggletoggle post by Randy_Marsh at Apr 2,2011 3:10am
none so vile

toggletoggle post by sixstringcarnage   at Apr 2,2011 11:15am
None so vile.

Cryptopsy newer.

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Apr 2,2011 12:27pm
newest one is definitely the best

are you being sarcastic? or is it actually worth a listen?

toggletoggle post by Woah!_NLI! at Apr 2,2011 10:57pm
NSV is kinda fun. WS is pretty good, but feels like it's going through the motions at times. OoN has some songs that literally sound the same/use the same riffs. TUK is nowhere near as bad as people like to say, but is still nowhere near as good as it should be... so I'll say NSV.

indeed, great guitar work on we Bleed and Shroud but I honestly think ATYB is the 1st Cryptopsy album with album fillers, Prodigal Son & Screams go Unheard, maybe 1 more but a decent album nevertheless

toggletoggle post by bloody at Apr 18,2011 11:18pm
ATYB, their best sounding album
